Abstract: An apparatus for resheathing hypodermic needles having a hollow cylindrical sheathguard to encompass a needle sheath inserted therein; a means of retaining the needle sheath within the sheathguard; a horizontal protective barrier below the aperture of the sheathguard and parallel thereto; a means for supporting the barrel of a hypodermic syringe engaged in the device; a means of guiding the syringe with hypodermic needle during resheathing; and a vertical protective barrier adjacent to the aperture of said sheathguard and perpendicular thereto.
