Abstract: A system for managing mobile telephone content provides a locker to a user. The locker includes pointers or references to mobile telephone content that is stored in a central location or at a remote third party location. The system further stores mobile telephone attributes for different mobile telephones. When the system receives a request from the user to download the mobile telephone content to the user's mobile telephone, the system retrieves the content based on the user's current mobile telephone attributes for the user's mobile telephone.
