Abstract: A transaction system avoids the storage of any single information item that can be used to provide access to sensitive information. To gain access to the sensitive information, information elements from at least two different databases must be provided, none of the information elements being sufficient to gain access to the sensitive information. In an example embodiment, a payment company encrypts the sensitive information, then partitions the encrypted information into at least two parts. These at least two parts are stored in at least two databases, each database being controlled by a different entity. To gain access to the sensitive information, each of the different entities must provide their part of the encrypted information. Absent any one of the parts of the encrypted information, it is virtually impossible to access the sensitive information.
Abstract: The present technology can integrate online transaction requests across different combinations of online applications to streamline approvals. A software connector is integrated to retrieve necessary information from digital banking applications, such that an approval process remains in a single application interface (e.g., of a merchant website or online application). The software connector polls for a notification from a respective banking application and presents the notification in a lightbox on the merchant website or application.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for facilitating payments for transactions, via mobile devices and mobile telecommunications networks, is disclosed. In an embodiment, a product provider is provided with a code, such as a QRcode, which contains or references payment details for purchase of the product. A mobile user of the application scans the code and is connected to their internet banking application. The payment details are transferred to the internet banking application and the mobile user confirms that the transaction should proceed. Payment is made without any secure details being provided to the product provider.
