The pharmaceutical composition can be in the form suitable for parenteral administration. Also disclosed is a method of prevention and/or correction of age-related disorders of cellular and humoral immunity by stimulating the processes of lymphocytes proliferation and differentiation, such method consisting in the administration to a patient of a pharmaceutical composition containing an effective amount of peptide glutamyl-aspartyl-proline with general formula: H-Glu-Asp-Pro-OH sequence 1 [SEQ ID NO:1] in the dose of 0.01-100 ?g/kg of body weight as an active base at least once a day during a period necessary for attaining a therapeutic effect.
