  • Patent number: 10993610
Abstract: An ophthalmic light instrument includes a plug (1) and a light guide (7) for guiding light (10) to a surgical site in the eye. The plug (1) is configured to be magnetically attractable or attractive and can be positioned and connected releasably with respect to a light source in such a way, that coupling of the light (10) into the light instrument takes place at the focal point (14) of the light source (12). An ophthalmic illumination system includes such a light instrument and a socket of the light source. The socket of the light source (4) is configured to be magnetically attractable or attractive and can be positioned and connected releasably with respect to the light source in such a way, that coupling of the light (10) into the light instrument takes place at the focal point (14) of the light source (12).

  • Patent number: 10232094
Abstract: A cassette module (1), in particular an ophthalmological cassette module (1), serves for receiving material and/or liquids aspirated during an operation and for insertion into a container chamber (8) of a suction module (19). The cassette module (1) comprises a container (4) with a container wall (3) that delimits a receiving space (33) for receiving the liquids, wherein the container (4) can be inserted into the container chamber (8), wherein the container (4) has at least one inlet opening (36) extending through the container wall (3), through which inlet opening (36) the material and/or the liquid can be delivered to the receiving space (33) of the container (4), and wherein the container (4) has at least one vacuum opening (25) which extends through the container wall (3) and by way of which the receiving space (33) can be subjected to an underpressure built up in the container chamber (8).

  • Patent number: 6575040
Abstract: A pressure measuring system has a line through which a fluid (4) flows, the line (3) having a central line section (5) in which, on a flattened outer side (6) of the line (3), a diaphragm is provided. The movements of the diaphragm, which are characteristic of pressure changes, are transmitted to a pressure sensor. In this case, the diaphragm is nondetachably connected to a protrusion (10) which points away from the line (3) and has an extension (12) which is oriented substantially transversely with respect to the longitudinal alignment of the line section (5) and, in a mechanical and simultaneously detachable way, acts on a force sensor as pressure sensor. A pressure measuring system is therefore provided which can be used for reconditioning in the autoclave sterilizer.
