Abstract: The invention relates to a rotating ring for spinning frames, advantageously for ring spinners comprising a rotating ring arranged coaxially in a fixed body by the interposition of an annular cage enclosing a plurality of spheres.Lateral shielding encloses the annular cage. Included is a brake cooperating with the cage enclosing spheres, and containing a pin sleeve and spring to carry out the required brake adjustment.The rotating ring is made in at least one piece.

Abstract: Device for cleaning an open-ended spinning turbine comprises a bell which can be fitted to a container holding the spinning rotor and which is mounted on an arm operated by a jack.The bell bears a piston of which the front tapered end probes the bottom of the throat for uniting the fibers in the rotor when the bell is joined to the container.The procedure consists in letting a certain quantity of fibers enter after breakage of the yarn so as to form a ring of fibers in the rotor and then to press this ring by means of the piston until the rotor stops, while the scraping or rubbing of the ring of fibers enables the impurities stuck in the area of the throat for uniting the fibers to be detached.

Abstract: A device for the removal of bobbins in open-end spinning machines comprising a stirrup bearing a bobbin, a holding organ solidly attached to a rod of a first jack joined to a pivoting element driven by a second jack, an arm discharging the bobbin bearing an articulated pipe connected to a suction means and a device to shear the yarn, the device being fitted so that it can swivel around an axis and driven by a third jack, the device discharging the bobbin while passing between the arms of the raised stirrup, a transfer organ driven by a fourth jack serving to bring the empty tubes from a storage point to between the arms of the stirrup and a hook shifting around an axis by a fifth jack so as to bend the trajectory of the yarn and bring it near to an arm of the stirrup so as to create a reserve of yarn while the winding of a new bobbin is being started.

Abstract: A cleaning procedure consisting in imparting some ultrasonic vibrations of which the frequency is a harmonic of the natural frequency to at least one mode of vibration of a groove (1b) for union of fibres in a rotor (1) of a spinning unit, and in applying to the rotor a transducer (3) fed with current of an ultrasonic frequency by a generator (4) in such a way as to impart to the wall of the groove an energy capable of detaching the impurities lodged there so that the latter can be discharged with the help of a suction head (5) connected to a fan (6).This procedure can be employed especially at the time when the yarn is pieced-up on a spinning machine of the open-end type.

Abstract: A device for the passage and the guiding of the yarn travelling towards the spool for textile and twisting machines comprising a plurality of spindles, each mounted within a ring supported by a ring rail. The device comprises a rotating ring (6) so mounted on and supported by a respective coaxial ring (2) carried by the ring rail (1) as to be able to freely rotate. An eyelet (7) is inserted through the rotating ring, extending upwardly beyond it and provided with an outer entrance passage for the insertion of the yarn (5). The end (7a) of said eyelet (7), which is positioned over said passage, is bent innerwardly so as to form a hook, while the other end (7b), which is positioned below said passage, projects outwardly so as to form an arm of a length sufficient to be able to rest on the upper surface of the ring (2) fixed to the ring rail (1).

Abstract: A device for placing a cop with its yarn pulled out into a compartment of a movable storage point from a step-by-step conveyor comprising a retainer for the end of the yarn when found, a fork which can be positioned at an angle and which laterally and alternately cooperates with the compartments of the movable storage point and of the step-by-step conveyor, pincers which can be opened and which retain the end of the yarn when found integrally fixed to and located on the top of each compartment of the movable storage point, a verifier of the presence of the end of the yarn, shears for cutting off the excess part of the end of the yarn and a control device for discharging a cop of which the end of the yarn has not been found. The verifier acts in cooperation with the shears and the control device.

Abstract: A device for aligning cops which withdraws them in bulk from a storage bin consisting of a substantially horizontal conveyor belt which discharges the cops onto a second elevating conveyor belt, which acts as a first spacing means. After the second elevating conveyor belt, the cops are further spaced out by two conveyor belts and are delivered one at a time along their axis into a collection chamber, from which they reach the usage means by passing over a sloped collection surface.

Abstract: A device for finding, extracting and temporarily positioning the end of the yarn in cops. More particularly, a device that uses single-cop compartments, which move forward in steps, and wherein the cops lie projecting from both ends of the compartments and already correctly oriented. The part on the end of the bobbin is affected by three actions to extract the end of the yarn, two of them being mechanical and the other being pneumatic. Subsequently all the wound yarn is affected by a sucking action so as to pick up the end of the yarn with certainty, wherever it may be. The operations are carried out in four successive stations, wherein the cops are kept in rotation between suitable mandreltailstock groups except in the third station, where the cops are halted.
