Abstract: Improved meals, improved meal compositions, and improved aquaculture feed compositions are provided based on plant meal, wherein anti-nutritional effects of one or more anti-nutritional substances (ANS) are mitigated. Also provided are methods for making and using the improved meals, improved meal compositions, and improved aquaculture feed compositions. Also provided are kits using the improved meals, improved meal compositions, and improved aquaculture feed composition. The improved meals, improved meal compositions, and improved aquaculture feed compositions demonstrate that plant meal protein digestibility may be improved, for example, for replacing fish meal protein.

Abstract: Emulsions for treating shingles, concrete, metallic substrates, mammalian skins, human hair or agricultural plants are described. The emulsions include soy alkyl and/or aryl ester; water; and a cationic surfactant to form the emulsion. Methods of using the emulsions are also described. Compositions including a modified oil alkyl and/or aryl ester comprising the transesterification reaction product of an oil and a surfactant having a hydroxyl group are described. Methods of using the compositions are also described. Methods of making a modified oil alkyl or aryl ester are described. The methods include transesterifying an oil with a surfactant having a hydroxyl group.
Abstract: Provided are polytriglyceride-AAG compositions, and corresponding coatings and coated articles. Also provided are methods for preparing the polytriglyceride-AAG compositions, and corresponding reagents including ?-ketoimide compositions and triglyceride-AAG (acetoacetyl group) compositions. Coatings using the polytriglyceride-AAG compositions may be useful for, e.g., replacing bisphenol-A cross-linked coatings used in food and beverage containers, coating metal articles, and the like.
