  • Patent number: 6806765
Abstract: A transconductance-capacitance filter having a plurality of transconductors, that operates in a normal operation mode and a testing/tuning operation mode. During the normal operation mode, the transconductors operate as having normal transconductances. During the testing/tuning operation mode, the transconductances are scaled by a same amount, so that frequencies of the test signals provided are lower than in the normal operation mode, and so that transfer characteristics of the filter can be easily verified.

  • Patent number: 6538491
Abstract: A switched capacitor circuit includes an operational transconductance amplifier, a feedback stage having a first switched capacitor and a first time constant, and a load stage having a second switched capacitor and a second time constant. The first time constant and the second time constant are equal to each other to improve settling of the circuit. The first and second switched capacitors are coupled to an output of the operational transconductance amplifier via transistors. The transistors are sized so that the time constants of the feedback and load section are equal. In a further embodiment, the time constant of the feedback section is made greater than the load section, to further improve settling. On-state resistance of the transistors are controlled with respect to transconductance of the operational transconductance amplifier to maintain smaller error.

  • Patent number: 5768583
Abstract: A computer network has a printing device with an associated print server and print queue, each having a designated name. A user selects the printing device to be configured, and it is determined whether the user wishes to create a new print server name to be associated with the printing device. If the user wishes to do so, the user inputs a unique print server name. If the user does not wish to do so, the user selects a print server name from a compiled list of existing print server names. Thereafter, it is determined whether the user wishes to create a new print queue name to be associated with the print server name and the printing device. If the user wishes to create a new print queue name, a default print queue name is created and it is determined whether the user wishes to accept the created print queue name. If the user does not wish to accept the created print queue name, the user inputs a unique print queue name.

  • Patent number: 5737669
Abstract: A band printer having a transport mechanism, an endless photoreceptive image carrying ribbon, a latent toner imaging apparatus, a transfer mechanism, and a fixing mechanism is disclosed. The transport mechanism defines a printing medium path extending in a first direction and transports a printing medium along the printing medium path. The endless photoreceptive image carrying ribbon circulates adjacent the printing medium path in a second direction at an angle to the first direction, and the latent toner imaging apparatus is adjacent to and stationary with respect to the circulating ribbon. The imaging apparatus forms an electrostatic latent toner image on the surface of the ribbon according to received image data as the ribbon moves past the imaging apparatus, and the transfer mechanism transfers the formed toner image to the printing medium when the formed toner image is aligned with the printing medium. Thereafter, the fixing mechanism fixes the image to the printing medium.

  • Patent number: 5169105
Abstract: An apparatus and method is provided for the support of an accessory unit within the defined space of a storage area. The storage area is preferably a floor-mounted console receptacle or a dashboard receptacle commonly found within the seating compartment of an automobile. The support structure provides a mounting plate that supports a radio telephone unit within the receptacle by spanning the space separating side walls of the receptacle. Engaging Velcro attachment elements mounted upon both side flanges of the mounting plate and the receptacle side walls permits the mounting plate supporting the radio telephone unit to be easily installed or removed within the receptacle. The use of Velcro elements to removably install the mounting plate within the receptacle eliminates the need for fastening screws, nuts and bolts, or rivets to mount a support structure within the storage area.
