  • Patent number: 5445534
Abstract: In order to securely lock a male component in a female housing, a slidable member is provided on the male component and can be slid into a position wherein flexible arms on which a lock pawl or pawls are provided cannot flex to the degree that the pawls can disengage from the female housing. To reduce the overall height of the female housing, a rib is provided which extends into the mouth of the female housing and which is receivable in a slot formed in the leading edge of the male component. To shut out electromagnetic noise, metallic cover members are formed on the female housing and male component and arranged to electrically contact one another when the male component is inserted into the female housing. The metallic cover on the female housing is grounded.

  • Patent number: 4992625
Abstract: A multi conductor cable with a sheath having improved mechanical flexibility is provided. The cable comprises a ribbon cable in which a plurality of core wires are connected parallel in same sections to each other and in other section, the plurality of the wires are separate. These sections are arranged alternately in the longitudinal direction of the ribbon cable. The transversely central portion of the ribbon cable is curved into about S-shape, which offers superior elastic properties. Side portions of the ribbon are wound around the central S-shaped portion to form the core of the cable according to the invention.

  • Patent number: 4623207
Abstract: To simplify both the printed circuit board connector structure itself and the circuit board connecting work, the improved circuit board connector comprises a connector body and plural roughly U-shaped spring contacts elastically housed within the connector body. Circuit boards to be connected are engageable with the board connector in card edge connection manner or in bolt-nut connection manner. The above board connector is simple in structure and in connecting operation so as to be available for an automatic mass-production assembly process line.

  • Patent number: 4448837
Abstract: A pressure-sensitive, conductive elastic sheet for use in a graphics digitizing tablet through which various letters or figures can be detected, the characteristics of which are such that the contact pressure is almost constant irrespective of contact area or increases with increasing contact area. The pressure-sensitive sheet according to the present invention comprises a silicon rubber in which a number of coarse, ferromagnetic, conductive metal particles with a diameter of 30 to 150 micron are mixed with a number of fine, ferromagnetic, conductive metal particles with a diameter of 10 micron or less or 50 micron or less at a predetermined proportion in such a manner that the coarse particles are aligned vertically through the interior thereof and the fine particles are dispersed near at least one surface thereof. To properly align the particles, the sheet is allowed to set within a uniform magnetic field.

  • Patent number: 4012894
Abstract: A conductor twisting system for twisting a running wire conductor comprising at least a set of combined rolls of which the axes are relatively oriented at such an angle that the two component forces resolved from a force of each of rolls acting on the conductor running therebetween are utilized for causing the conductor to rectilinearly travel and rotate in a direction normal to the conductor travel direction, and means for fixing the twist imparted on the running conductor immediately before the twist is untwisted by a twisting stress produced in the running conductor in association with the twist, whereby a high conductor twisting rate is attained with a simple construction.
