Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for aligning stored data in a matter that may facilitate budgeting and/or forecasting. A definable calendar period is provided which has a starting day. The starting day is applied to the stored data to locate and align each of a plurality of time periods associated with the stored data so that each time period has a starting day that matches the starting day of the calendar period.
