The gear disc includes a shaft tube, and an internal thread portion and a stop portion both provided at an inner wall of the shaft tube. The handle assembly includes a handle and a drive shaft having a first end pivotally connected with the handle. The drive shaft has an external thread portion engaged with the internal thread portion of the gear disc in a way that the drive shaft is penetrated through an opening of the housing and inserted into the shaft tube of the gear disc, and a second end of the drive shaft is abutted against the stop portion of the gear disc.

    Abstract: A transmission mechanism of a spinning fishing reel includes a transmission shaft having a shaft body with an axial hole and a cut slit communicating with the axial hole, a gear disc having a tube portion, through which the shaft body is inserted such that the gear disc is drivenable by the transmission shaft to rotate, and a bolt having a head and a shank. The shank is screwingly threaded into the axial hole in a way that the head of the blot is abutted against an end of the tube portion of the gear disc, such that the outer periphery of the shaft body is expanded to firmly abut against the inner periphery of the tube portion. As such, the operational smoothness and stability of the product are enhanced by the transmission mechanism. Further, the transmission mechanism can be easily assembled with low manufacturing cost.

A key is inserted through the through grooves and the elongated holes and abutted with a spring disposed inside the shifting rod. When the key is inserted into the first through hole or the second through hole, the first gear or the second gear is rotatably driven by the gear shaft. As such, the key can be positioned positively, the speed changing motion acts smoothly, and the gear shifting device can be easily assembled with stable quality.

The tubular member is movably disposed at non-circular section of the shaft and abutted against the washer set. The spring member is sleeved to the shaft and abutted against the first driving washer and first stair portion, respectively.
