Abstract: A grease interceptor and method of use thereof is provided for separating solids, fats, oils, and grease waste (“F.O.G.”), and other particulate matter. The grease interceptor receives waste water in a liquid storage area where solids in the waste water have residence time long enough to gravitationally separate towards the bottom of the liquid storage area and waste that is less dense than water floats to the top of the liquid storage area. A series of features including channels, interrupter plates, and walls can increase the residence time or otherwise improve the separation of waste from the water. In addition, embodiments of the grease interceptor can have tapered access holes that improve visual inspection of the liquid storage area of the grease interceptor.

Abstract: A vault system is provided that secures a brace to the underside of a vault lid to improve the performance of the lid when the lid is subject to external loads. The vault has guiding features to receive a brace and place the brace in a particular position. Then, a vault lid is pressed into the vault, and tabs on the vault lid deflect into receiving portions on the ends of the brace to secure the brace to the vault lid. The resulting vault lid is reinforced with a brace. In some embodiments, the guiding feature comprises a rib in a recess in the brace, and in various embodiments, the tabs have an arm and a hook disposed on a distal end of the arm. The tab arms deflect to fit around the end of the brace, then an undercut on the hook secures the brace to the lid.

The system comprises a lid to allow selective access to the contents in the enclosed volume of the vault. Over time, continued wear and tear on the lid of the vault can cause the lid to deflect inward and/or cause the body of the vault to deflect outward, which compromises the integrity of the vault. Interlock features, methods, and systems are provided transfer stress and strain between the lid and the vault, which maintain the integrity of the selective interconnection between the lid and the vault.

Abstract: A waste or storm water pumping station and system used to pump water from a lower elevation to a higher elevation during the process of moving or managing the water is disclosed herein. The pumping station has a wet well collection chamber with a sloped floor and an integral valve vault chamber cast within the pump station body, which results in increased storage capacity in the wet well chamber for pump station components. Additionally, the pumping station may be installed as a single unit of equal depth to eliminate differential settlement and multiple or uneven excavations.

Assemblies include a drain body may be secured to or in fluid communication with additional plumbing features, and layers or features for connecting the assembly. More specifically, a fluid collection and containment system is provided that comprises a plurality of underground modules and permeable devices, such as ground level pavers, to allow the ingress of fluid at a predetermined rate. Various permeable and non-permeable conduits are also contemplated for conveying fluid within the system.

Abstract: The invention provides systems, associated component parts, and assemblies of the pre-filtration systems, that are useful for treating storm water entering underground storm water management systems. The invention further provides methods to pre-filter storm water prior to entering underground water management systems. The invention reduces pollutant loading in storm water runoff with minimal footprint, flexibility of use and ease of maintenance.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for use in conjunction with grassy swales to collect and filter or otherwise treat dirty or polluted storm water runoff or other fluid is disclosed. The swale overflow screen device is used in connection with a catch basin. One or more swale overflow screen devices are installed within a bioretention swale, such that during periods of routine flow, at least a portion of storm water runoff or other passing fluids can enter the swale overflow screen device, through the catch basin, and be released to a drainage system.
