Patent number: 9170081Abstract: There is provided an all-electric powered ANFO vehicle. The all-electric powered ANFO vehicle includes a support structure. This support structure includes a first and second section and a steering section. The support structure also includes a lift apparatus configured to deliver explosives to a mine face in a mine tunnel. A self-contained battery module is removably mounted on the support structure. A pair of wheel sets is coupled to the support structure, with each wheel set including two wheels. One wheel of each wheel set is rotably coupled on each side of the support structure. A motor is mounted on the support structure and is coupled to at least one wheel and the battery module. A motor controller, including a DC/AC inverter is coupled to the motor and the battery module.Type: GrantFiled: February 23, 2012Date of Patent: October 27, 2015Assignee: Oldenburg Group IncorporatedInventor: Stephen A. Patent number: 8111388Abstract: A LED light fixture and a luminous flux monitoring system for a light fixture. The light fixture includes a housing defining an interior space including an interior surface and a transmissive panel. A light source is coupled to the interior surface. The system includes a light sensor coupled to the interior surface and aligned to receive light from the transmissive panel, light source, and/or interior surface. The light sensor is configured to measure luminous flux in the interior space. A controller is coupled to the light source and the light sensor. The controller is configured to determine if a light sensor measurement of luminous flux in the interior space is more or less than a reference value of the luminous flux. If the measurement of luminous flux is less than the reference value, the controller is configured to activate an end-of-life indicator. The reference value equals (total flux?internal ambient flux)×depreciation factor.Type: GrantFiled: August 4, 2010Date of Patent: February 7, 2012Assignee: Oldenburg Group IncorporatedInventors: Christopher M. Patent number: 8097804Abstract: A cable protection system protects a cable, such as an insulated conductor, data line, fluid or gas conduit, power cord, communication line or the like. The cable passes through a pair of ferrules that are separated by a segment of the cable. A protective jacket made of braided metal strands or the like encloses the ferrules and the cable segment and is held in place to the ferrules by jacket securing means. In one embodiment, support collars surround a portion of the braided jacket and a portion of each ferrule so that the braided jacket is securely held between each ferrule and support collar combination when a loading force, such as a gravitational loading or suspension force, is applied to the cable segment, typically in an axial orientation. The braided jacket has a diameter that constricts when an axial loading force is applied, protecting the cable segment from damaging stress by gripping the ferrules and the cable segment.Type: GrantFiled: February 19, 2009Date of Patent: January 17, 2012Assignee: Oldenburg Group IncorporatedInventors: Mark J. Patent number: 7441809Abstract: A mine service vehicle has a forward module, a rear module, and a cab module of unitized construction that can be secured together to assemble the vehicle. The forward and rear modules preferably have frame sections with terminating plates that can be affixed together with bolts, while the cab preferably mounts to the forward and rear modules by resilient couplings. The bolts preferably pass through tension sleeves into threaded holes in bolt receiver plates attached to one of the terminating plates. A frame extender can be affixed between the terminating plates to lengthen the vehicle. The vehicle preferably has a rear axle mounted to axle support bars that are each resiliently, floatably mounted to a pair of axle support brackets by a pivot bolt, with resilient bearings interposed between the axle support bar and the pivot bolt as well as between the pivot bolt and the axle support brackets.Type: GrantFiled: September 12, 2005Date of Patent: October 28, 2008Assignee: Oldenburg Group IncorporatedInventors: Perry L.
