Abstract: The invention relates to a solvent composition comprising an ester of isoamyl alcohol with a C8-C14 fatty acid. The isoamyl alcohol is a component selected from the group of 3-methyl-1-butanol, 2-methyl-1-butanol, a fusel oil mixture containing 3-methyl-1-butanol, 2-methyl-1-butanol or a mixture of two or more of the afore mentioned components. The invention also relates to a creep oil, an ink composition, a coating composition or an anti-corrosion agent containing such a solvent composition.
