Abstract: A lightweight garment protective of the legs and lower torso during exercise, comprises(a) a pant with integral tubular legs, the pant and legs comprising lightweight stretch fabric, and(b) a pad at the knee portion of each leg, there being layers of such fabric at the inner and outer sides of each pad co-operating to retain the pad to the knee portion and sandwiched between the fabric layers,(c) each pad consisting essentially of lightweight batting.Typically, the fabric of each leg is characterized as elastically stretchable lengthwise of each leg, and in directions about the wearer's leg.

Abstract: A brassiere pad is formed by providing two cones, each consisting of batting and having a seam extending from the cone apex to its periphery; nesting the cones to orient the seams in selected non-superposed position; and applying heat and pressure to the cones to effect their compression to final pad shape and interconnection through curing of a bonding agent.

Abstract: A women's garment includes(a) a bodice having a soft fabric front portion to conform to the bust of the wearer,(b) an elastic band spaced inwardly from the bodice and located in a loop shaped path adapted to extend about the body of the wearer so as to tension the band,(c) and a fabric panel attached to the bodice above the level of the band and suspending the band to extend crosswise of said bodice soft fabric front portion so that when tensioned the band will anchor a front panel portion of the fabric panel beneath and in supporting relation to the bust of the wearer.
