    Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for removing grass and dirt from spikes and cleats mounted on shoes, boots and other foot wear. The tufted device is generally placed upon the ground and spikes or cleats are moved across the device in order to remove unwanted debris. The improved device comprises a hollow base structure having generally smooth inclined sides from which synthetic brush tufts radiate upward, and integral spike-like grabber radiate downward.
