  • Patent number: 10271715
Abstract: A distal end cover of an endoscope includes a peripheral edge portion configured to form an opening that externally exposes a space in which a raising base is housed, in a distal end member; a planned-to-be-torn-apart section including a tear starting point disposed on the peripheral edge portion, and a thin portion that is connected to a to-be-torn-apart section of the peripheral edge portion torn from the tear starting point, on an inside surface of a surface facing the opening or an inside surface of at least one side surface that connects the peripheral edge portion and the surface facing the opening; and an engagement portion configured to be engaged with an outside surface of the distal end member by engaging in a direction intersecting the outside surface.

  • Patent number: 9367902
Abstract: An image processing device includes an isolated point noise detection section, and an isolated point noise correction section. The isolated point noise detection section determines whether or not isolated point noise is included within a given area based on a first index value that represents the range of first to nth pixel values being obtained by arranging the pixel values of pixels within the given area including an attention pixel in ascending or descending order, and a second index value that represents the range of a pixel value group being obtained by excluding at least one of the first pixel value and the nth pixel value from the first to nth pixel values. The isolated point noise detection section determines whether or not the attention pixel is a pixel that corresponds to isolated point noise when it has been determined that isolated point noise is included within the given area.

  • Publication number: 20070024725
Abstract: An optical system enables images of a wide range of natural subjects to be well reproduced with their colors, and provides an image pickup system including, at least, an image pickup optical system, an electronic image pickup device having three or more different spectral characteristics to obtain a color image, and a controller for implementing signal processing or image processing on the basis of an output from the electronic image pickup device. The optical element that takes part in the determination of a focal length in said image pickup system includes an optical element making use of a refraction phenomenon alone.
