Abstract: An electronic rim cylinder door or cabinet door and drawer lock utilizes third party electronic rim cylinders to drive a dead bolt or latch bolt cabinet door or drawer lock. The lock portion is in kit form and may be adapted to a variety of third party electronic rim cylinders.
Abstract: A cover plate assembly 10 is provided for a cabinet door or drawer lock 12. A cover plate 26 defines a first circular aperture 28 and a rotatably circular cover plate insert 32 defines an eccentrically positioned second circular aperture 34. The second circular aperture 34 defines an inner diameter 33 sized to selectively receive the cylinder and plug assembly housing 20, and the insert 32 has an outer diameter 39 sized to fit within and selectively rotate with respect to the first circular aperture 28. During installation, the outer diameter 39 of the insert 32 is positioned within the first circular aperture 28, and the insert 32 is selectively rotated to a position that enables the cover plate assembly 10 to register with a bolt housing 16 and the second circular aperture 34 to register with a cylinder and plug assembly housing 20.
Abstract: An insert type of cylinder cabinet cam lock permits use of Schlage-compatible deadbolt cylinders in a cabinet door and/or drawer cam lock. A bifurcated, housing is provided that journals a cam driver adapted for operational interconnection with the Schlage-compatible standard deadbolt.
Abstract: An integrated cabinet door and drawer handle and lock provides a front piece having apertures for receipt of a cabinet door or drawer lock and a human hand. Optionally, a wire pull handle can be provided. A backing plate having a transverse lip thereon is adapted for telescoping interaction with the front piece. A cabinet door or drawer having a portion cut out therefrom for receipt of the integrated handle and lock is clamped between the front piece and backing plate such as by screws. Multiple locks can be incorporated into the integrated structure.
Abstract: An ambidextrous vertical inverted handed cam lock for cabinet doors and drawers has a conventional pin tumbler cylinder and plug assembly. An arcuately movable bolt is journaled for rotation about a rearwardly extending portion of the plug. A conventional lazy cam drives the bolt. An arcuately repositionable bolt rotation limiter provides either left hand or right hand throws for the bolt while simultaneously allowing for inverted vertical use.
