Patent number: 11912324Abstract: A dolly is disclosed that includes a caster/jaw support member, an upper jaw assembly, a lower jaw assembly, and casters. The upper jaw assembly includes a jaw slidably mounted to the caster/jaw support member and a selectively engageable threading structure with a partially-threaded hole, wherein the threading structure extends from the upper jaw assembly to the lower jaw assembly. The lower jaw assembly includes a lower jaw carriage slidably mounted to the caster/jaw support member, and the selectively engageable threading structure is disposed in the lower jaw carriage. A threaded shaft connected to an adjustment knob can be engaged and disengaged by the selectively engageable threading structure. A set of casters is connected to and extends away from the caster/jaw support member. Multiple dollies can be connected together by a crossmember to form a larger cart.Type: GrantFiled: October 19, 2023Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: OMNI CUBED, INC.Inventor: Larry Leigh Livingston, Jr.

Patent number: 11089868Abstract: A work table improvement for supporting and fabricating a solid surface is disclosed. The work table has a plurality of table rails, wherein each table rail has a rail top surface and a rail channel running along at least a portion of the rail length on the rail top surface. The table also includes a plurality of channel pucks comprised of a compressible material. Each channel puck has a puck top and a puck tongue, and the puck tongue further includes a necked region, a flared region, and a tapered region. The pucks are constructed to be installed into the rail channel in a direction that is substantially orthogonal to the rail top surface.Type: GrantFiled: August 6, 2020Date of Patent: August 17, 2021Assignee: OMNI CUBED, INC.Inventor: Larry Leigh Livingston, Jr.

Patent number: 10875157Abstract: A solid surface clamp that has a top jaw and a bottom jaw, along with alignment structures, is disclosed. The clamp includes a top jaw, a bottom jaw, a bolt attached to the bottom jaw and slideably received through the top jaw, and a nut. The bolt has an alignment cutout, a threaded portion extending from the top jaw and defines a bolt longitudinal axis. The nut is threaded onto the threaded portion of the bolt and transitions the clamp from an open position to a clamping position. The top jaw further includes an alignment hole that contacts the alignment cutout and maintains the top jaw and the bottom jaw substantially fixed relative to each other about the bolt longitudinal axis. The alignment cutout moves relative to the alignment shaft in the direction of the bolt longitudinal axis when the clamp transitions from an open position to a clamping position.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2018Date of Patent: December 29, 2020Assignee: OMNI CUBED, INC.Inventors: Larry Leigh Livingston, Jr., Derek Carlton Westlund

Patent number: 10859104Abstract: A clamp for reinforcing a solid surface is disclosed and may be used with a top rail and a bottom rail. The clamp has a top jaw and a bottom jaw, each with a channel constructed to receive and align the top and bottom rails respectively in a first direction and a second direction. Each jaw has its own channel lip, shaft hole, and alignment pin hole. An alignment pin may be disposed of in the pin holes to inhibit the rotation of the jaws relative to each other. A shaft may be disposed of in the shaft holes, and the shaft may be at least partially threaded with a knob connected to the shaft. The clamp may have three configurations: a locked configuration; a sliding configuration; and a rail removal configuration. Multiple clamps may be used to construct a multidimensional frame to reinforce and support the solid surface.Type: GrantFiled: March 19, 2019Date of Patent: December 8, 2020Assignee: OMNI CUBED, Inc.Inventors: Stephen Paul Swinney, Larry Leigh Livingston, Jr.

Publication number: 20150352693Abstract: A miter clamp is provided in which includes a paddle a non-slip surface that can be placed on a miter-cut piece of material. The paddle is connected to a channel structure that has disposed of therein a shaft assembly, which has connected to it a lower material holding structure that holds a second miter-cut piece of material. The shaft assembly is locked into place by a position lock that is attached to the paddle, with the position lock tab that contacts the shaft assembly and restricts movement of the shaft assembly. The relative position of the shaft assembly to the paddle can be changed such that the first and second miter-cut pieces can be brought in contact with each other. Other structures allowing for the fine movement of the shaft assembly are disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 20, 2014Publication date: December 10, 2015Applicant: Omni Cubed, Inc.Inventors: Kevin D. Patent number: 8740669Abstract: A damage prevention tool and method is provided in which a free-floating disk is connected to an abrasion disk through a bearing structure. When the tool is actuated, the abrasion disk rotates substantially independent of the floating disk. The floating disk may have a slightly larger circumference and a non-marring friction material on its outer edge, such that the outer edge does not damage foreign objects and protects the abrasion disk, and the abrasion material mounted to the abrasion disk, from contacting foreign objects.Type: GrantFiled: June 19, 2012Date of Patent: June 3, 2014Assignee: Omni Cubed, Inc.Inventors: Theodore J. McFadden, Cameron L. DeMille, Larry L. Livingston, Jr.

Patent number: 8047516Abstract: A solid surface clamp is provided. The solid surface clamp has a top jaw and a bottom jaw. A connecting rod is attached to one of the jaws, and slideably extends through the other jaw. Alignment surfaces may be incorporated into the jaws to assist in accurately positioning the material to be laminated. A compression device is connected to the portion of the connecting rod that extends through the jaw. A shroud shields the compression device, thereby protecting the compression device from contamination by the laminating adhesive. An elongated stiffening member may be used to apply the clamping force over a longer surface, allowing for greater spacing between clamps and extended regions of even clamping pressure.Type: GrantFiled: June 25, 2008Date of Patent: November 1, 2011Assignee: Omni Cubed, Inc.Inventors: Larry Leigh Livingston, Jr., Derek Carlton Westlund
