  • Patent number: 11002882
Abstract: A lightning strike alarm system using a Bipolar Conventional Air Terminal (BCAT) is provided. The lightning strike alarm system using BCAT including a rod element to which a ground charge is electrified and an electrification plate-cone or an electrification plate-tube electrified by a thunderstorm cloud, includes a luminescence unit to be electrically connected to the rod element and the electrification plate-cone or the electrification plate-tube and emits light by electric energy electrified to the electrification plate-cone or the electrification plate-tube by the thunderstorm cloud. The lightning strike alarm system enables a user to find that an impulse current of the thunderstorm is normally and safely flown to the ground, and thus, the user may have psychological security.

  • Publication number: 20130197840
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for calculating a length of a carbon grounding electrode module, which calculates a grounding electrode module length with the smallest grounding impedance variation depending on frequency variation, with respect to the grounding electrode module having a coaxial structure and being filled therein with a carbon-containing filler, wherein the present invention comprises: configuring two distributed constant circuits into two layers to configure a grounding electrode circuit; receiving the resistivity and relative dielectric constant of ground, the resistivity and relative dielectric constant of the filler, and the inside and outside diameters of the grounding electrode module, as dummy variables; selecting a plurality of frequencies within a frequency variation range; simulating a grounding electrode circuit with the dummy variables with respect to each selected frequency to calculate grounding impedances corresponding to lengths of a grounding electrode

  • Patent number: 8482374
Abstract: The present invention provides a low-resistance carbon grounding module and a method for manufacturing the same, which can increase strength for durability against external environmental changes by varying the type and mixing ratio of raw materials for a carbon resistor without using any heat source. The low-resistance carbon grounding module comprises a carbon resistor extending in the longitudinal direction thereof and a conductive core bar installed in the center of the transverse section of the carbon resistor, wherein the carbon resistor comprises graphite, cement, and feldspar. Thus, it is possible to prevent the durability from being deteriorated due to external environmental changes, water, or electrical resistance, thus improving the quality and reliability of the product while minimizing the production of CO2.
