    Abstract: An improved screed guide/control joint and clip for the placement of concrete in concrete slabs on a plurality of different surfaces, the clip accommodating different sized screed guides to accommodate different depths of concrete pours, the screed guide/control joint inhibiting water passage, impeding growth of weeds in the joint, and having improved lateral flexibility to the expansion and contraction of the concrete, the screed guide also allowing placement of conduits within the cover portion of the channel cavity of the screed guide.
