Abstract: Drug delivery systems and a treatment regimen that improves percutaneous absorption of topically applied drug or active agent is described. The method generally has three steps including pre-treating the surface of skin in need thereof; applying an active ingredient to the skin; and applying a post treatment agent to the skin. Pre-treatment agents, drugs and active ingredients, as well as post treatment agents are described.
