Abstract: A strobel unit (1) for a shoe includes a plate element (2) having a bottom layer (21) and a top layer (22), and textile sheet (3), wherein the textile sheet (3) defines a textile flange portion (31), wherein the textile flange portion (31) completely peripherally surrounds the plate element (2) and wherein the textile sheet (3) is fixedly attached to the plate element (2) along a circumferential rim connection section (23) of the plate element (2). Furthermore, a shoe with such a strobel unit and a method for producing such a strobel unit is disclosed.

Abstract: A shoe (1) including a sole unit (2) and an upper (3). The upper (2) forms a foot accommodation compartment (9), and the upper (3) and the sole unit (2) are connected to each other by a removable connection element (4), wherein the connection element (4) is configured such that it can be removed from the shoe (1) upon which the upper (3) and the sole unit (2) are separated from each other. One or more components may then be recycled.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a foamed polymer product having a series of openings and a compression mold including a series of pins for use in the method. The method includes the steps of providing a foamed polymer preform having a certain height, width and length and comprising a series of openings extending into or through the preform; inserting the preform into the compression mold by sliding the preform with the series of openings onto the corresponding series of pins of the compression mold; and shaping of the preform in the compression mold to form the product having a compressed height, width and/or length by compressing the preform inside the compression mold, in particular by pressing the top and the base towards each other and by heating of the preform inside the compression mold.
