  • Patent number: 12030000
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for separating solids from liquids are disclosed. A vessel includes an inlet, a carrier liquid outlet, a product outlet, a purifying section, and a heater. The inlet directs a slurry into the purifying section. The slurry comprises particles of a solid and a carrier liquid. The purifying section preferentially drives the particles of the solid towards a heating zone of the purifying section versus the carrier liquid. This displaces a first portion of the carrier liquid away from the heating zone of the purifying section. The heater heats the slurry. The carrier liquid outlet drives a majority of the carrier liquid out of the vessel. The product outlet is adjacent to the heating zone of the purifying section.

  • Patent number: 12029455
Abstract: An intermedullary nail for targeted arthrodesis of the tibiotalar joint. The intramedullary nail may be advanced through a bore extending through the calcaneus, talus, and into the tibia. In an example, a distal end portion of the intramedullary nail is disposed proximal to the subtalar joint. It has been recognized that creation of a bore for introduction of the intramedullary nail does not significantly disrupt the articular surface area of the subtalar joint. Furthermore, locking fasteners used to secure the intramedullary nail may introduced laterally and/or anteriorly to facilitate benefits in relation to patient placement and manipulation during an operation. Furthermore, arthrodesis may be extended to adjacent anatomy through use of extension plates at least partially secured by locking fasteners also engaging the intramedullary nail.

  • Patent number: 12033231
Abstract: A system for facilitating the execution of law enforcement duties is disclosed. More particularly, according to one aspect of the invention, an electronic system is configured to facilitate the performance of law enforcement duties by quasi-instantaneously providing actionable intelligence to its users, such as front-line law enforcement officers, in response to a real-time query (e.g., accessing witness, medical, military personnel, law enforcement personnel, and government personnel information). According to another aspect of the invention, a system implements a set of automated status classifications for subjects with suspected or confirmed involvement in criminal and/or terrorist activities. The status classifications specifically and concisely establish the subject's involvement in criminal and/or terrorist activities.

  • Patent number: 12024808
Abstract: An ozone and/or hydroxyl laundry system that injects ozone and/or hydroxyls into the chemical injection system in order to allow the system to inject ozone and/or hydroxyls as other cleaning chemicals are injected into the washer. This allows ozone and/or hydroxyls to be injected through the wash cycle rather than just during the initial fill phase and avoids the expense and maintenance of adding ozone and/or hydroxyls recirculation plumping to an ozone and/or hydroxyls laundry system. Accordingly, ozone and/or hydroxyl levels may be maintained at superior levels throughout the wash cycle.

  • Patent number: 12023696
Abstract: A spray system includes nozzles spaced along a distribution line. Each nozzle actuates the position of one or more internal valves based on a spray command received from a system control module. Sensors generate position information regarding the actuation of the valves. The actual valve positions are compared to expected valve positions to determine a deviation between the two. The deviation can be compared to a threshold to determine a status of that nozzle. A normal nozzle status can be generated based on the deviation being less than the threshold. An abnormal nozzle status can be generated based on the deviation being equal to or exceeding the threshold.
