Abstract: Virtual spaces can be added to both 2D and 3D representations of physical spaces allowing for enhancements of those spaces. The virtual spaces can belong to business locations, such as a bakery or coffee shop, and content for those spaces can be controlled by the owner or user of that location. Virtual spaces belonging to public spaces can be provided as digital space for content providers. Valuation of the virtual space can occur based on various requests and use metrics of that virtual space and provide a marketplace for the addition of virtual content. Layers or groups of virtual spaces can be created and enabled or disabled by a user viewing the representation with the virtual space.

Abstract: Nuclear propulsion fission reactor structure has an active core region including fuel element structures, a reflector with rotatable neutron absorber structures (such as drum absorbers), and a core former conformal mating the outer surface of the fuel element structures to the reflector. Fuel element structures are arranged abutting nearest neighbor fuel element structures in a tri-pitch design. Cladding bodies defining coolant channels are inserted into and joined to lower and upper core plates to from a continuous structure that is a first portion of the containment structure. The body of the fuel element has a structure with a shape corresponding to a mathematically-based periodic solid, such as a triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) in a gyroid structure. The nuclear propulsion fission reactor structure can be incorporated into a nuclear thermal propulsion engine for propulsion applications, such as space propulsion.

The process can include transmitting, to a session management function (SMF), a message that includes downlink data from an application server and for transmission to a wireless device and a release assistance indicator (RAI). The RAI can indicate transmission of uplink data by the wireless device is expected subsequent to transmission of the downlink data and a release of a connection associated with the wireless device after the transmission of the uplink data. The RAI can be configured to be included with a release message indicating release of a non-access stratum connection associated with the wireless device. The release message can include the RAI.
Abstract: A frusto-conical filter includes at least one layer of a filtering material, wherein one or more layers of the at least one layer of a filtering material comprises a plurality of pleats. Each of the pleats has a center axis which essentially maintains a constant distance from the center axis of its adjoining pleats. The media filter has a first end and a second end, the second end being spaced apart from the first end, and one of the first and second ends is larger than the other of the first and second ends. A method of making this media involves cutting out a frusto-conical section from a generically shaped media and aligning it in such a way as to maintain the constant distance of the pleats from the adjacent pleats.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes an architecture and design of Unauthorized-Blocking-Role (UAB). UAB is a mechanism which prevents higher privileged users of cloud-hosted software from performing unauthorized activities on protected objects, such as management objects. UAB works by periodically monitoring the permissions of customer users on key management objects in an object hierarchy in management software. If a customer user is detected to have privileges higher than the user should have on those objects, UAB applies restrictive role-based access controls (RBACs) on the user. Similarly, UAB also monitors protected principals and protected roles to ensure that their privileges are not modified by a customer user.
Abstract: A chamber has an elongated rectangular flexible panel with a first longitudinal side and a second longitudinal side, a first lateral panel having a substantially triangular shape and rounded corners, and a second lateral panel having a triangular rectangular shape and rounded corners. The first lateral panel is sealingly engaged to the first longitudinal side of the elongated rectangular flexible panel. The second lateral panel sealingly engaged to the second longitudinal side of the elongated rectangular flexible panel. The elongated rectangular flexible panel, first lateral panel, and second lateral panel form the chamber having a substantially triangular prism shape.
Abstract: Application-based point of sale systems in mobile operating systems. A first application may generate a first URL directed to a second application, a parameter of the first URL comprising an identifier of the first application. A mobile operating system (OS) may access the first URL to open the second application. The second application may receive, from a server, a virtual account number (VAN). The second application may initiate a server on a port and generate a second URL directed to the first application, a parameter of the second URL comprising the port. The OS may access the second URL to open the first application. The first application may establish a connection with the server using the specified port and receive the VAN from the second application via the connection. The first application may autofill the VAN to a form field of a payment form in the first application.
Abstract: An example device includes a mounting structure including a first material having a first coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE). The mounting structure includes a center portion and an outer portion. The device further includes a magnetic core for an electrical component that is coupled to the outer portion of the mounting structure. The magnetic core includes a second material having a second CTE. The magnetic core is split into a plurality of sections separated by spaces extending from the center portion to an outer edge of the outer portion. Each of the plurality of sections is separately coupled to the mounting structure, and each of the plurality of sections is connected to the electrical component.
Abstract: An electrical stimulation system includes a sheath that includes conductive points that are operative to facilitate electrical stimulation to a bodily portion of a user. Drive-sense circuits (DSCs) generate electrical stimulation signals based on reference signals and provide those electrical stimulation signals via electrodes to the conductive points of the sheath. The electrical stimulation signal is coupled into respective locations of the bodily portion of the user that are in proximity to or in contact with the conductive points of the sheath. In addition, the DSCs sense, via the conductive points of the sheath and via the electrodes, changes of the electrical stimulation signals based on coupling of them into the respective locations of the bodily portion of the user. The DSCs provide digital signals that are representative of the changes of the electrical stimulation signals to one or more processing modules that includes and/or is coupled to memory.

Abstract: An improved light fixture includes a housing that connects to a power source at one end and interfaces with a heat sink, lighting module, and associated lens at the other end. A lens retainer includes an aperture that allows water to flow into a cavity formed within the lens retainer when installed. A portion of the heat sink is exposed to the cavity and can form a surface of the cavity. As a result, the exposed surface of the heat sink can come into direct contact with water that flows through the aperture of the lens retainer. The lens retainer can use multiple apertures in fluid communication with the cavity, providing a path for water to provide a cooling flow to the heat sink.
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for managing HUD power in vehicle head up displays are disclosed. State indications are stored. Based on the state indications a determination is made as to whether a HUD power control condition is met. If a HUD power control condition is met a corresponding HUD power control action is determined. A set of HUD power control commands corresponding to the HUD power control action is sent to the HUD to control the HUD to take the power control action.
