Abstract: Disclosed is a multiband antenna having a plurality of low band radiators, a plurality of mid band radiators, and a plurality of high band radiators. The high band radiators are disposed in a column between two adjacent low band radiators. Each of the low band radiators has a plurality of inward dipole arms and a plurality of outward dipole arms, wherein the inward dipole arms and the outward dipole arms have a different structure. The inward dipole arm structure is designed to minimize interference and shading with the high band radiators. Each of the mid band radiators has a parasitic disk with a plurality of cloaking slots.

Abstract: A dorsal night splint has dynamic adjustable features that allow the patient to adjust the splint while in use to control the stretching of the plantar fascia and Achilles. A semi-rigid flexible frame is included along with a tightening strap that is anchored to the frame and by which the patient can tension the strap and adjust the structure of the frame to fit the patient's desired therapeutic or prophylactic needs.

Abstract: A multi-agent path planning method is provided. The method includes: generating an initial mesh of a 2D floor plan of a space; optimizing the initial mesh to find a target mesh maximizing a value of a metric function, the metric function including a term reflecting a number of agents that a graph corresponding to a candidate mesh can hold and a term reflecting a number of agents in a largest connected component of the graph corresponding to the candidate mesh, the candidate mesh being a mesh; converting the target mesh into a target graph, each vertex of the target graph representing a position that an agent can reside at, and each edge of the target graph representing a path that an agent can travel on; and planning paths for the plurality of agents according to origins and destinations of the agents and the graph, wherein the agents traveling on the planned paths do not collide with each other.

Abstract: A system and method (1200) for monitoring operating performance of a seeder. A sensor is disposed in each distribution line (58) of the seeder to detect gaps in the product stream. If the duration of the gap exceeds a gap threshold, the gap is recorded. In one embodiment, GPS coordinates are associated with each recorded gap which is then displayed on a field map such that the operator has a real-time a visual representation of each recorded gap within the field as the seeder advances through the field. In another embodiment, a gap rate (1311) is calculated and displayed by determining the number of occurrences of the recorded gaps over a distance or area. In another embodiment, an economic loss value is calculated and displayed based on different ranges of the calculated gap rate (1311).

Abstract: A vehicle includes a frame, a tractive element coupled to the frame, a prime mover coupled to the frame and configured to drive the tractive element to propel the vehicle, and a silage compactor. The silage compactor includes a wheel rotatably coupled to the frame and positioned to engage silage positioned below the frame, a vibrator coupled to the wheel and configured to cause the wheel to vibrate, and a controller configured to control the vibrator to vibrate the wheel while the wheel is in contact with the silage to compress the silage.

Abstract: This disclosure is directed to an improved ballistic concrete barrier for stopping projectiles with a kinetic energy of between about 1.0 kJ (750 foot-pounds) and 20.3 kJ (15,000 foot-pounds) in between about 3 inches and 10 inches. In one embodiment, the ballistic concrete barrier comprises (a) about 1 part by mass Portland cement; (b) about 0.5 to 1.5 part by mass fine aggregate; (c) about 0.005 to 0.15 part by mass fiber; (d) about 0.005 to 0.05 part by mass calcium phosphate; (e) about 0.005 to 0.05 part by mass aluminum hydroxide; and (f) about 0.0005 to 0.05 part by mass air entrainment additive, such that the ballistic concrete barrier is capable of stopping a fifty caliber bullet in less than 10 inches from a point of entry into the barrier.

In one embodiment, a method includes: receiving image data defining a plurality of images associated with an environment of the vehicle; receiving vehicle data indicating a velocity of the vehicle, wherein the vehicle data is associated with the image data; determining, by a processor, feature points within at least one image based on the vehicle data and a three dimensional projection method; selecting, by the processor, a subset of the feature points as ground points; determining, by the processor, a ground plane based on the subset of feature points; determining, by the processor, a ground normal vector from the ground plane; determining, by the processor, a camera to ground alignment value based on the ground normal vector; and generating, by the processor, second image data based on the camera to ground alignment value.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method of removing truncation artifacts in magnetic resonance (MR) images is provided. The method includes receiving a crude image that is based on partial k-space data from a partial k-space that is asymmetrically truncated in at least one k-space dimension. The method also includes analyzing the crude image using a neural network model trained with a pair of pristine images and corrupted images. The corrupted images are based on partial k-space data from partial k-spaces truncated in one or more partial sampling patterns. The pristine images are based on full k-space data corresponding to the partial k-space data of the corrupted images, and target output images of the neural network model are the pristine images. The method further includes deriving an improved image of the crude image based on the analysis, wherein the derived improved image includes reduced truncation artifacts and increased high spatial frequency data.
