Patent number: 12005232Abstract: In various embodiments, a drainage device includes an inner lumen configured for draining fluid from a target site and one or more outer lumens for transmitting dilution fluid to the inner lumen. According to one embodiment, the drainage device includes one or more eyelets and/or a distal opening through which the fluid from the target site enters the inner lumen. In one or more embodiments, the dilution fluid is transmitted to the inner lumen through one or more ports that may output the dilution fluid directly into the inner lumen or into the eyelet. According to one embodiment, as the fluid from the target site flows through the drainage device, the dilution fluid reduces clotting processes such that formation of blockages within the inner lumen is prevented or at least reduced. In some embodiments, the dilution fluid is substituted with, or provided in addition to, pharmaceutical solutions or other infusions.Type: GrantFiled: April 5, 2021Date of Patent: June 11, 2024Assignee: CIRCULATECH LLCInventors: Jake Tyler Pardell-Pistiner, Stephen McClain, Rachel Malvagomes, Kathleen Ana Gonzalez, Carson Daniel Schaff, Amirah Suleiman, Nicholas Paul Bello, Sara Budar, David Bradshaw Pearlstone

Patent number: 12006078Abstract: A case loader is fed containers by a container conveyor. The containers then rest on a hinged ledge. When the number of containers required to fill the case is present in the loader, a first sensor is activated. The cases are conveyed to the loader below and beside the position of the containers. The cases are tipped up and, when in place, they activate the second sensor. When both sensors are activated, the containers drop and fall into a chute (directing the containers from the loading station and into the cases. When the containers have dropped, the ledge is reset to receive the next group of containers. The force of the containers tips the case back onto the conveyor and it is carried away. An optional device may assist in case tipping. An optional device may move case facing edge of each chute.Type: GrantFiled: August 31, 2022Date of Patent: June 11, 2024Assignee: BURTOFT, LLCInventor: Matthew Robert McCafferty

Patent number: 12009093Abstract: Systems and methods for managing audit risks utilizing the true state of the patient are provided. A number of medical records for a patient are subjected to predictive modeling for various conditions (known as patient ‘true state’). The true state is then cross referenced by the eligible Medicare documentation, and any findings that are being submitted to MediCare for reimbursement. The result of this cross referencing is the ability to classify each finding and/or true state into a “green, “yellow”, or “red zone”. The green zone is where the finding, documentation and true state are in good alignment. A red zone is where the finding and the true state are entirely at odds. The yellow zone is where the findings and the true state are in agreement, but where there is still audit risk that may be resolved through one or more “opportunities”.Type: GrantFiled: October 11, 2022Date of Patent: June 11, 2024Assignee: APIXIO, LLCInventors: John O. Patent number: 12007519Abstract: This disclosure describes a system and method for generating a subsurface model representing lithological characteristics and attributes of the subsurface of a celestial body or planet. By automatically ingesting data from many sources, a machine learning system can infer information about the characteristics of regions of the subsurface and build a model representing the subsurface rock properties. In some cases, this can provide information about a region using inferred data, where no direct measurements have been taken. Remote sensing data, such as aerial or satellite imagery, gravimetric data, magnetic field data, electromagnetic data, and other information can be readily collected or is already available at scale.Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 2023Date of Patent: June 11, 2024Assignee: X Development LLCInventors: Kenton Lee Prindle, Artem Goncharuk, Neil David Treat, Kevin Forsythe Smith, Thomas Peter Hunt, Karen R Davis, Allen Richard Zhao

Patent number: 12009838Abstract: An apparatus and method are provided for storing and processing quantum information. More particularly, a physical layout is provided to perform Floquet codes. The physical layout includes a quantum processor having an array of qubits (e.g., columns of tetrons or hexons in which Majorana zero modes are located on topological superconductor segments) with a gateable semiconductor devices forming interference loops to perform two-qubit Pauli measurements. Coherent links between qubits in a column enable certain two-qubit Pauli measurements, especially those additional two-qubit Pauli measurements used at a boundary surrounding a region of the bulk code. The two-qubit Pauli measurements are selected to minimize a size of the interference loops. Certain embodiments perform Floquet codes in six time steps. Hexagon embodiments tile the array of qubits with unit cells of 6-gon vertical (or horizontal) bricks. Square-octagon embodiments tile the array of qubits with unit cells of two 4-gon and two 8-gon bricks.Type: GrantFiled: November 18, 2022Date of Patent: June 11, 2024Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Roman Bela Bauer, Jeongwan Haah, Christina Paulsen Knapp

Patent number: 12007936Abstract: Disclosed are various examples of providing provide efficient waiting for detection of memory value updates for Advanced RISC Machines (ARM) architectures. An ARM processor component instructs a memory agent to perform a processing action, and executes a waiting function. The waiting function ensures that the processing action is completed by the memory agent. The waiting function performs an exclusive load at a memory location, and a wait for event (WFE) instruction that causes the ARM processor component to wait in a low-power mode for an event register to be set. Once the event register is set, the waiting function completes and a second processing action is executed by the ARM processor component.Type: GrantFiled: January 21, 2022Date of Patent: June 11, 2024Assignee: VMware LLCInventors: Regis Duchesne, Andrei Warkentin, Cyprien Laplace, Ye Li, Alexander Fainkichen, Shruthi Hiriyuru, Sunil Kotian
