  • Patent number: 11989414
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure include a digital circuit and method for multi-stage compression. Digital data values are compressed using a multi-stage compression algorithm and stored in a memory. A decompression circuit receives the values and performs a partial decompression. The partially compressed values are provided to a processor, which performs the final decompression. In one embodiment, a vector of N length compressed values are decompressed using a first bit mask into two N length sets having non-zero values. The two N length sets are further decompressed using two M length bit masks into M length sparse vectors, each having non-zero values.

  • Patent number: 11991158
Abstract: Novel tools and techniques might provide for implementing secure communications for IoT devices. In various embodiments, a gateway or computing device might provide connectivity between or amongst two or more Internet of Things (“IoT”) capable devices, by establishing an IoT protocol-based, autonomous machine-to-machine communication channel amongst the two or more IoT capable devices. For sensitive and/or private communications, the gateway or computing device might establish a secure off-the-record (“OTR”) communication session within the IoT protocol-based, autonomous machine-to-machine channel, thereby providing encrypted machine-to-machine communications amongst the two or more IoT capable devices, without any content of communications that are exchanged amongst the IoT capable devices over the secure OTR communication session being recorded or logged.

  • Patent number: 11988635
Abstract: An ion mobility analyser is disclosed having a gas flow directed along the ion travel axis and a set of electrodes to which DC voltages are applied to establish a DC field. The opposing forces of the gas flow and DC field cause ions to be trapped within a separation region in axial regions determined by their ion mobilities. A gas recirculator, having inlet and outlet ends respectively located downstream and upstream of the separation region, supplies at least fifty percent of the gas flow within the separation region, thereby reducing vacuum pumping requirements.

  • Patent number: 11989408
Abstract: A touch sensor system includes touch sensors, drive-sense circuits (DSCs), memory, and a processing module. A DSC drives a first signal via a single line coupling to a touch sensor and simultaneously senses, when present, a second signal that is uniquely associated with a user. The DSC processes the first signal and/or the second signal to generate a digital signal that is representative of an electrical characteristic of the touch sensor. The processing module executes operational instructions (stored in the memory) to process the digital signal to detect interaction of the user with the touch sensor and to determine whether the interaction of the user with the touch sensor compares favorably with authorization. When not authorized, the processing module aborts execution of operation(s) associated with the interaction of the user with the touch sensor. Alternatively, when authorized, the processing module facilitates execution of the operation(s).

  • Patent number: 11986958
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for using skill templates for robotic demonstration learning. One of the methods includes receiving a skill template for a task to be performed by a robot, wherein the skill template defines a state machine having a plurality of subtasks and one or more respective transition conditions between one or more of the subtasks. Local demonstration data for a demonstration subtask of the skill template is received, where the local demonstration data is generated from a user demonstrating how to perform the demonstration subtask with the robot. A machine learning model is refined for the demonstration subtask and the skill template is executed on the robot, causing the robot to transition through the state machine defined by the skill template to perform the task.

  • Patent number: 11989123
Abstract: Techniques are provided for updating, managing, and maintaining a reference template for web service API testing. A plurality of logs, corresponding to a target application that provides one or more web services, may be captured. The captured logs may be filtered using information (e.g., URL extension) in the captured logs. Each filtered log may be parameterized and API request payload data may be extracted to generate a baseline template. A reference template may be compared with a corresponding baseline template to determine if they differ. If they differ, a test template may be generated by replacing each differing field of the reference template with a corresponding baseline template identifier. The test template may then be used in testing a web service API, such that a test template can conform with a changing web service API.

  • Patent number: 11990922
Abstract: The technology relates to bandwidth constrained communication systems with neural network based detection. In some embodiments, a bandwidth constrained equalized transport (BCET) communication system comprises: a transmitter comprising an error control code encoder, a pulse-shaping filter, and a first interleaver; a communication channel; and a receiver comprising a neural network processing block that processes a received signal. The error control code encoder can append redundant information onto the signal. The pulse-shaping filter can intentionally introduce memory into the signal in the form of inter-symbol interference. The first interleaver can change a temporal order of the symbols in the signal. The error control code encoder can be a low-density parity-check (LDPC) error control code encoder. The neural network can be trained with positive mappings between transmitted and decoded training signals, or negative mappings between training signals and a null space of an LDPC generation matrix.
