Abstract: A method for the continuous automated audio synchronization of an alternative audio track with the playback of the combined audio and video of a motion picture includes selecting a motion picture in a user interface to an audio synchronization application executing in memory of a mobile computing device and downloading an alternative audio file for the selected motion picture. The method also includes detecting a location of the mobile computing device. Finally, in response to a determination that the mobile computing device is proximate to a movie theater, a start time of a next scheduled presentation of the selected motion picture is determined and audio synchronization of the alternative audio file triggered at a time that is within a threshold of the determined start time.

Abstract: Epileptic seizures are difficult to diagnose and are often difficult to distinguish from several conditions with similar presentations, and therefore, diagnosis of seizures is often a long, expensive, and unreliable process. This invention provides biomarkers for identifying seizures and epilepsy, assays for measuring and assessing biomarker concentration, predictive models based on biomarkers and computational systems for detecting, assessing and diagnosing phasic and tonic changes associated with seizures and epilepsy in all clinical and healthcare settings. Diagnostic and treatment methods, systems, kits, and predictive models provided herein, provide quantitative and/or qualitative assessment in order to allow patients to proceed immediately to diagnostic and/or treatment protocols, and assess therapeutic treatment effectiveness.

Abstract: A trailer-mounted system and apparatus are provided to improve safety at road construction sites and other locations by allowing drivers to be signaled, and one or more lanes of traffic blocked, without having a flagger stand in or immediately adjacent to a road that is carrying traffic. The system and apparatus may have extensive data and audio and video networking capabilities to allow for remote control of the system and/or observation of the construction site. These networking capabilities may allow the system to further serve to enhance collaboration among remote worksites. A variant apparatus may be mounted on a highway divider such as a K-rail instead of a mobile trailer. Another variant provides a portable kiosk containing apparatus to supply the data networking and collaboration functions without the mechanical apparatus used to block traffic.

Abstract: A multi-stage process for transforming a high sulfur ISO 8217 compliant Feedstock Heavy Marine Fuel Oil involving a core desulfurizing process that produces a Product Heavy Marine Fuel Oil that can be used as a feedstock for subsequent refinery process such as anode grade coking, needle coking and fluid catalytic cracking. The Product Heavy Marine Fuel Oil exhibits multiple properties desirable as a feedstock for those processes including a sulfur level has a maximum sulfur content (ISO 14596 or ISO 8754) between the range of 0.05 mass % to 1.0 mass. A process plant for conducting the process is also disclosed.

Abstract: A vehicle includes a cabin interior, a powered door having an actuator for moving the door between closed and open positions, interior sensors sensing position or movement of an occupant in the cabin interior, and exterior sensors sensing a passerby proximate to the vehicle. The vehicle includes a controller determining an occupant intending to exit the vehicle via the door based on the interior sensors and determining a passerby passing by the door in an open position using the at least one exterior sensors. The controller controls the actuator to open the door when the occupant is intended to exit the vehicle and at least partially closes the door when a passerby is detected passing by the vehicle door and an occupant is determined not to be exiting the vehicle. The controller controls the actuator to open the door further when the passerby is determined to pass by the door.

The conductive component may include a first end section, an intermediate section, and a second end section. The intermediate section may be configured to heat the aerosol-forming substrate. The first end section and the second end section may each have at least one surface discontinuity. Abstract: This application discloses a dispersible extended release granule composition comprising: (i) one or more active bio-active ingredients; (ii) at least one water-soluble gel forming polymer; and (iii) at least one water-insoluble lipid material, wherein the bio-active ingredient and the water-soluble gel forming polymer are present in the form of dry, pre-granulated particles either partially or fully coated with the water insoluble lipid material. Also disclosed is a process for preparing such extended release compositions and applications thereof.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed herein for using anomaly detection in timeseries data of user sentiment to detect incidents in computing systems and identify events within an enterprise. An anomaly detection system may receive social media messages that include a timestamp indicating when each message was published. The system may generate sentiment identifiers for the social media messages. The sentiment identifiers and timestamps associated with the social media messages may be used to generate a timeseries dataset for each type of sentiment identifier. The timeseries datasets may be input into an anomaly detection model to determine whether an anomaly has occurred. The system may retrieve textual data from the social media messages associated with the detected anomaly and may use the text to determine a computing system or event associated with the detected anomaly.

Abstract: A water management system having an integrated independent power supply that is configured to be operably coupled to a water meter wherein the invention is operable to provide continuous monitoring of water flow into a structure by measuring magnetic field data generated by a water meter. The invention includes a first sensor assembly and a second sensor assembly that are configured to be operably coupled to a water meter. The second sensor assembly facilitates the ability to capture data from single or compound water meter. The first sensor assembly includes a magnetometer operable to measure a magnetic field produced by a rotating magnet in the water meter. The magnetic field data is converted into a square wave which is wirelessly transmitted to an external computing device. The second sensor assembly functions identically as the first sensor assembly wherein the data therefrom is transmitted to the first sensor assembly for transmission.

Abstract: This disclosure includes various uses of extensible papers, for example to improve products typically made with conventional papers or as an alternative to plastic in products typically made with plastic. Examples of such products include bags such as retail shopping bags; primary product packaging; product bundle wraps; shipping products such as envelopes, pallet wrap, blocking, bracing, and cushioning; personal protection equipment (PPE) and medical products; food service products such takeaway wrappers for food; construction and landscape materials; and industrial and agricultural bags. In at least some of the present embodiments and configurations, the extensible paper has a machine direction (MD) extensibility of 10% or greater, and a cross-direction (CD) extensibility of 6% or greater.
