Abstract: This application discloses an apparatus and method for displaying pilot control authority. This apparatus and method include using a controller to identify a condition of an aircraft and determine a limitation in pilot control authority. Using this, an indicator on a display may show a visual representation of a pilot control authority, the limitations thereof, and a pilot input.

Abstract: A woven laminated plastic bag having an easy open feature is provided. The easy open feature is generally defined by a weakened portion in the bag. In various aspects the bag can be fabricated from a woven polyethylene layer which can be laminated with a polyethylene film layer, can form a pinch bottom bag, and can have one or both sides include graphics and/or printing. The bag can also provide a top end and/or a bottom end either or both of which provide a discrete area which may contain discrete graphics and/or printing.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a system and method for providing dynamic remediation of a pluggable streaming device issue, such as a customer premises equipment (CPE) device. Sometimes, various features of the CPE device to begin to fail. For example, synchronization of the audio and video streams may drift, media rental purchases may time out, or playback may throttle to low quality. Such failures can be caused by device or network issues. The present disclosure describes a CPE remediation system that operates to identify a failure associated with playing media streamed by the CPE device. The CPE remediation system may further determine a solution to remediate an observed CPE device-related failure. In some examples, the CPE remediation process may further provide or perform one or more actions included in the determined solution. In some examples, the solution may include a warm or a cold reboot.

Abstract: An oropharyngeal glove (OPG) is provided for use in a rigid, or flexible bronchoscopy procedure and for anesthesia recovery. Portions of the OPG conform to portions of the patients mouth and throat. During a bronchoscopy procedure, the bronchoscope tube passes through an opening in a proximal end of the OPG, through the OPG and through an opening in a distal end of the OPG into the patient s trachea. A flexible body of the OPG protects the patients mouth, throat and vocal cords from being damaged by the bronchoscope tube. A tubular extension disposed on the proximal end of the OPG provides the opening through which the bronchoscope tube first passes. Post procedure, the tubular extension can act as an airway device that connects to a ventilator machine to deliver air to the patient, thereby obviating the need to install a separate airway device to ventilate the patient during anesthesia recovery.

Abstract: A lighting tower system is provided. The lighting tower system includes a tower positioned in an upright orientation within a bed of a vehicle. The tower includes a base tube section and an upper tube section. The base and upper tube sections include a common longitudinal axis and are arranged to slide relative to one another in a telescoping relationship to move each tower between a retracted position and a fully extended position. The lighting tower system includes a light assembly coupled to and extending from the upper tube section of the tower. The light assembly is configured to rotate with respect to the common longitudinal axis and to tilt with respect to an axis perpendicular to the common longitudinal axis. The lighting tower system includes a mounting configuration configured to attach and detach the tower to the bed of the vehicle in the upright orientation.

Abstract: Systems for creating and distributing digital rights management (DRM)-unlocking non-fungible tokens (NFTs) associated with DRM-encrypted video content. One embodiment system enables users to purchase, own, and access video content through the ownership of DRM-unlocking NFTs. Many embodiments include the steps of generating a DRM-unlocking NFT smart contract, uploading the encrypted video content, setting NFT parameters, and providing instant payment to the distributor's wallet address via blockchain upon NFT purchase. Embodiments also allows for the integration of hybrid DRM-unlocking NFTs that grant access to both physical events and video-on-demand content, as well as facilitating rental management, transfers, and temporary content sharing. Other examples of the inventive subject matter enable the creation of farmable DRM-unlocking NFTs, allowing users to own and access farmable NFTs and the content they generate.

Abstract: A method for detecting network anomalies includes receiving a control message from a cellular network and extracting one or more features from the control message. The method also includes predicting a potential label for the control message using a predictive model configured to receive the one or more extracted features from the control message as feature inputs. Here, the predictive model is trained on a set of training control messages where each training control message includes one or more corresponding features and an actual label. The method further includes determining that a probability of the potential label satisfies a confidence threshold. The method also includes analyzing the control message to determine whether the control message corresponds to a respective network performance issue. When the control message impacts network performance, the method includes communicating the network performance issue to a network entity responsible for the network performance issue.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable user-level activity recordation using population level activity data by receiving operator data including a record of activities performed by users on an operator system. Each entry in the record of activities is parsed to form structured activity entries representing each activity executed on the operator system. Each entry in the record of activities is matched to an individual account in an account database based on an individual identifier of each entry and an account individual identifier identifying the individual account. A statistical metric representing the activity history of the individual account is produced based on each entry matched to the individual account, and an activity history dashboard is displayed on an operator computing device to depicts the statistical metric for the individual account.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to manufacturing a balloon envelope for use in a stratospheric balloon system. For instance, a stream of polyethylene mixture is extruded through an extruder in order to orient molecules of polymer chains of polyethylene and to provide an oriented film. The oriented film is passed through an electron beam and thereby crosslinking the polymer chains to provide a cross-linked film. The cross-linked film is heat sealed to form the balloon envelope.

Abstract: A system and method for visually warning a person of a dangerous condition related to the proximity of the person to a machine is provided. The system includes a transmitter system located on the machine, a locator for being carried by the person, an algorithm performed at the transmitter for determining coordinates of the locator relative to the transmitter system, data input into the controller defining one or more safety zones around the machine, a warning indicator for generating a signal when the locator enters any of the one or more safety zones, and a lamp associated with the person. The lamp may be a spot lamp for illuminating the area around the person, and it may also include one or more warning lamps associated with the warning indicator such that the one or more warning lamps are illuminated when the locator enters either of the safety zones.

A server may receive a request to transfer ownership privileges from a named user, the current owner of the artwork, to a second user. The request may include an identification of a universal art record, from a plurality of universal art records in a database, associated with the artwork. When both the named user and the second user use two-factor authentication to confirm the transaction, ownership privileges are transferred to the second user. This may include, for example, modifying the universal art record to indicate in the ownership field that the second user is now the current owner of the artwork, thereby providing the second user with the ability to access a virtual certificate of authenticity and grant possession access to the universal art record to other users.
