Abstract: Provided are dry-milling methods for producing an aqueous fermentation feedstock ingredient. The methods include providing a corn-processing filtration feed; filtering at least a fraction of said filtration feed on a microfiltration membrane, whereby an aqueous filtration permeate and a filtration retentate are formed; separating said filtration permeate from said filtration retentate, to form separated permeate and separated retentate; forming a fermentation feedstock comprising said separated permeate, and saccharifying and/or washing said separated retentate.
Abstract: A device which reduces odor in athletic apparel storage, notably athletic or “gym” bags, lockers, and similar places where athletic apparel might be stored before it can be washed is disclosed. An exterior configuration for the device making it simple to use and appropriate for use in rugged conditions is also disclosed, as is an improved embodiment making the mode of the device (active or inactive) readily apparent. A deodorizing cartridge which is easy and efficient to manufacture while allowing easy refilling and maintaining durability is also disclosed.
Abstract: A screening system for solid removal includes a housing and a screen positioned within the housing. A flow inlet is operatively connected to an interior chamber defined by the screen. A sump is downstream from the flow inlet for capturing solids that do not pass through the screen. A flow outlet is downstream from the screen in fluid communication with the flow inlet. A moveable cleaning assembly may be positioned either within a perimeter of the screen, around the perimeter of the screen or both. The moveable cleaning assembly is moveable with respect to the screen.
Abstract: The disclosed apparatus, systems and methods relate to a quick release grill guard further comprising at least one latching system configured for the quick release and pivot of the grill guard away from the vehicle grill face. In certain embodiments, the quick release grill guard further comprises a grill guard coupling portion, a vehicle coupling portion, a latching portion a hinge, a quick release bar; and a clasping member. In certain embodiments, the grill guard coupling portion is capable of being freely pivoted relative to the hinge by actuation of the clasping member by way of the quick release bar. In exemplary embodiments, the quick release bar is in operable communication with multiple latching systems so as to release the grill guard in a plurality of locations simultaneously.
Abstract: Systems and methods for operating an engine that may be rotated by an electric machine during engine starting are described. In one example, an amount of electric current that is available to rotate the engine via the electric machine may be adjusted in response to an indication that a vehicle that includes the engine may be parked in a geographical area that may be flooded.
Abstract: Techniques are described herein that are capable of updating a state of a client device using a limited event size protocol. An initial state of the client device is stored. The initial state is defined by first records that identify first respective binaries associated with the client device at a first time. A first event of multiple events, which are configured in accordance with the limited event size protocol, is received from the client device. Each event includes a respective subset of second records, which identify respective second binaries associated with the client device at a second time. The first event is parsed to identify a first subset of the second records that is included in the first event. An updated state of the client device is generated by replacing a first portion of the first records with the first subset of the second records.

Abstract: A system includes one or more memory devices storing instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to perform steps of a method. The system may provide an augmented environment that facilitates a transaction. The system may store profile data including user payment or user profile information. The system may then receive environmental data, and identify one or more action items in the environmental data. In response to this identification, the system may augment the environmental data by adding virtual environmental data, and then provide this virtual environmental data to a device to create an augmented environment. The system can then receive user input data, and provide purchase request data to a merchant terminal in response to those inputs.

Abstract: An integrated circuit device that has improved write margin at low operating voltages is disclosed. The integrated circuit device can include an SRAM array that has end power select circuits that can include selection circuits that provide a controllable impedance path between a power supply potential and an array power line. A power supply detection circuit may provide an assist enable signal when a power supply potential is low enough that write assist is needed. A power control circuit may provide end power control signals to end power select circuits to selectively control an impedance path between a power supply potential and an array power line to provide an I-R drop to a selected memory cell. In this way, write margins may be improved at low operating voltages.
Abstract: Adaptive and dynamic control of the duration of a pre-program pulse based on a number of planes selected for the pre-program operation is disclosed. A value for a pre-program time increment parameter may be selected based on the number of planes for which the pre-program operation will be performed or determined based on a predefined association with the number of planes. A pre-program voltage pulse may then be applied for a duration that is equal to a default duration for a single-plane pre-program operation incremented by the time increment parameter value. This approach solves the technical problem of Vt downshift for multi-plane pre-program operations, and thus, ensures that the success rate of secure erase operations does not diminish as the number of planes increases. This, in turn, allows for pre-program operations to be consistently performed on a multi-plane basis, which produces the technical effect of improved system performance.

Abstract: The suspension system disclosed may be used to provide anti-gravity or pro-gravity affects to aid in exercise and rehabilitation. The system includes a frame assembly which supports an elastic cord. Abstract: A request is received from a user at a client to access a file of a set of files backed up to a backup server. Upon verifying a password provided by the user, the client is issued another request for authentication. A first data structure is received responsive to the request. The first data structure is generated using identifiers corresponding to a set of files at the client of which at least some presumably have been backed up to the server. A second data structure is generated. The second data structure is generated using identifiers corresponding to the set of files backed up to the server. The first and second data structures are compared to assess a degree of similarity between the files at the client and the files backed up to the backup server. The user is denied access when the degree of similarity is below a threshold.
Abstract: Churn-aware training of a classifier which reduces the difference between predictions of two different models, such as a prior generation of a classification model and a subsequent generation. A second dataset of labelled data is scored on a prior generation of a classification model, wherein the prior generation was trained on a first dataset of labelled data. A subsequent generation of a classification model is trained with the second dataset of labelled data, wherein in training of the subsequent generation, weighting of at least some of the labelled data in the second dataset, such as labelled data threat yielded an incorrect classification, is adjusted based on the score of such labelled data in the prior generation.

In aspects, a base station forms a disengaged-mode-user-equipment coordination set including multiple user equipment operating in a disengaged mode. The disengaged-mode-user-equipment coordination set uses joint transmission and reception to communicate with the base station. The base station communicates control-plane information to an individual user equipment or multiple user equipment in the disengaged-mode-user-equipment coordination set.
