Abstract: This application relates to apparatus and methods for electronically generating, and executing, component models for systems and system components, and determining component options for the system based on the executed component models. In some examples, a computing device generates component models for one or more components of a system. The component models may be based on features, inputs, and outputs to each system component. The computing device may execute the component models to determine one or more requirements for each component. The computing device may then search a database to determine component options that can satisfy the one or more requirements. In some examples, the computing device may display the determined component options, and may allow for the selection of one or more of the determined component options. In some examples, the computing device may allow for the purchase of the component options.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable improved content filtering by determining a profile state of the user profile based at least in part on at least one attribute of the user profile and determining a user profile criterion associated with the user profile based on the profile state including a threshold value to trigger a filter parameter associated with the profile objective, where the filter parameter comprises a content type to be processed so as to facilitate achieving the profile objective. The filter parameter is determined based on the profile state surpassing the user profile criterion. A content recognition model is used to identify a message content of each message. An electronic message that matches the content type is identified and filtered at the electronic messaging client to prevent the content from being presented.
Abstract: This disclosure is directed to substituted Imidazolo[2,1-b]oxazole, Imidazolo[2,1-b]thiazole, Imidazolo[2,1-b]oxadiazole, Imidazolo[2,1-b]oxadiathiazole derivatives of compounds that are antagonists of orexin receptors, and which are useful in the treatment or prevention of neurological and psychiatric disorders and diseases in which orexin receptors are involved or implicated. The invention is also directed to pharmaceutical compositions comprising these compounds and the use of these compounds and compositions in the prevention or treatment of such diseases in which orexin receptors are involved.
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for video decoding. The apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry applies an intra prediction mode with a multiple reference line (MRL) prediction to a current block. For each weight candidate combination including a respective first weight candidate and a respective second weight candidate in a plurality of weight candidate combinations, a subset of samples in the current block is predicted using intra prediction fusion that is based on a first reference line weighted by the respective first weight candidate and a second reference line weighted by the respective second weight candidate. The subset of samples includes top samples in a top-most row and left samples in a left-most column. A gradient cost is determined based on the predicted subset of samples and reconstructed samples outside the current block. A weight candidate combination is selected based on the gradient costs.

Abstract: Disclosed in some examples are display systems, methods, devices, and machine-readable mediums which provide for a gesture-based method for specifying a region of a display in which to show shared content. Also disclosed are pairing methods for associating the region of the display with a content source device, methods for sharing content within the region, and methods for providing input from the region back to the content source device.
Abstract: A medication packet bundle includes one or more beacons. Each beacon may transmit a signal representing an event related to patient compliance with a medication regimen, such as removal of a packet of medication from a bundle or opening of a packet. The transmitted beacon signals can be monitored and processed to track patient compliance and adherence.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments may include a method for automatically providing customized financial card incentives where the system can identify if a transaction is eligible for additional bonus rewards by determining if the user is a student using a clustering algorithm with user similarity data to generate a probability. Then, if the probability is above a predetermined threshold, a machine learning model with comprehensive user data classifies the user as a student or non-student. Once the user is determined to be a student, the transaction is verified as being an educational purchase using the transaction data or by having the user provide an image of a receipt. Once the transaction is verified, the transaction or items within the transaction qualify for additional rewards that are applied to the user's account. Users who are not identified as students may qualify for a standard amount of rewards.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture to estimate cardinality through ordered statistics are disclosed. In an example, an apparatus includes processor circuitry to selects a sample dataset from a first reference dataset of media assets and partitions the sample dataset into m mutually exclusive subsets of approximately equal size. The processor circuitry then estimates a ratio of a sample weighted average and empirical cumulative distribution of an approximately largest order statistic from at least one of the m subsets and generates an estimate of a total cardinality of the first reference dataset by multiplying the ratio by approximately m.
Abstract: A rotary transducer is described. The rotary transducer includes a Hall effect sensor, a rotary dial comprising at least two recessed pockets, a first magnet that is positioned within one of the at least two recessed pockets, and a second magnet that is positioned within another one of the at least two recessed pockets. In an acceleration only mode, the rotary dial is rotatable from a center position in a first direction and is not rotatable from the center position in a second direction. This mode is selected when a mode selection screw is inserted into a mode selection orifice. In a bi-directional acceleration/deceleration mode, the rotary dial is rotatable from the center position in the first direction and is rotatable from the center position in the second direction. This mode is selected when the mode selection screw is not inserted into the mode selection orifice.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide for generating a visualization of a three-dimensional (3D) world view from the perspective of a camera of a vehicle. For example, images of a scene captured by a camera of the vehicle and 3D content for the scene may be received. A virtual camera model for the camera of the vehicle may be identified. A set of matrices may be generated using the virtual camera model. The set of matrices may be applied to the 3D content to create a 3D world view. The visualization may be generated using the 3D world view as an overlay with the image, and the visualization provides a real-world image from the perspective of the camera of the vehicle with one or more graphical overlays of the 3D content.
Abstract: A system determines that a primary event processor, included in a primary data center, is associated with a failure. The primary event processor is included in the primary data center and configured to process first events stored in a main event store of the primary data center. The system identifies a secondary event processor, in a secondary data center, that is to process one or more first events based on the failure. The primary event processor and the secondary event processor are configured to process a same type of event. The system causes, based on a configuration associated with the primary or secondary event processor, the one or more first events to be retrieved from one of the main event store or a replica event store. The replica event store is included in the secondary data center and mirrors the main event store of the primary data center.
Abstract: An image sensor may include an array of image sensor pixels. The array of image sensor pixels may be controlled by row driver circuitry. The row driver circuitry may include row drivers that receive power supply signals from transconductance amplifier circuitry. The transconductance amplifier circuitry may include multiple amplifiers with output ports shorted to one another. Each amplifier may include input transistors, cross-coupled transistors with a low threshold voltage, and additional transistors coupled in series with the cross-coupled transistors and having a moderate or high threshold voltage.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and computer-readable media for utilizing a content access authorization system to determine user access control efficiently and flexibly for digital documents that are stored in different geographic regions. For instance, the content access authorization system can convert sensitive user information for digital documents stored in a first geographic region into a probabilistic data structure that does not include user information and share the probabilistic data structure with a second geographic region. The content access authorization system can then utilize the probabilistic data structure to efficiently pre-filter user document access control for digital documents requested by a user in the second geographic region that are stored in the first geographic region, which significantly saves on latency and computing resource usage by reducing the number of document control access queries needed to be made to the first geographic region.
