Abstract: A medical system for delivering treatment or therapy to a patient has a kill switch for interrupting the delivery. The kill switch, which can disrupt the delivery directly or can cause an error message to be generated that disrupts the delivery, can be activated by the operator or remotely. In an ablation catheter system, a kill switch mechanism immediately and abruptly terminates delivery of ablation treatment or therapy.

Abstract: A tube rack-out system for use in an exercise machine having: a hollow support structure having an aperture therein; an angled tubular member, the angled tubular member having a first end received into the aperture in the hollow support and a second end that is angled upwardly; and a cover passing over an upper surface of the angled tubular member, the cover being connected onto the hollow support structure. The system enables the mounting of individual rack-outs on a support member and provides a large surface area between the covers and the angled tubular member below the covers, thereby contributing to the long life of the covers.
Abstract: A retaining wall having a plurality of courses of retaining wall blocks including a first upper course and a second lower course. Each retaining wall block has opposed front and rear faces, opposed first and second side surfaces, and opposed and substantially parallel upper and lower surfaces, and at least one weight bearing pad extends from one of the upper and lower surfaces. The at least one weight bearing pad extends substantially from the rear face to the front face of the block. The weight bearing pads are the only areas of contact between the blocks in the first upper course and the blocks in the second lower course.
Abstract: An automated at-the-pump method manages vehicle fuel purchases at a fuel station. The method includes transmitting driver identification data to a mobile device assigned to a vehicle driver. The driver identification data is electronically verified to confirm that the driver identification data received by the mobile device matches the assigned vehicle driver. Vehicle data is transmitted from a data bus of the vehicle to the mobile device for storage in the memory. The vehicle data and driver identification data are transmitted to a remote terminal. Using the remote terminal, the vehicle data and driver identification data are electronically authenticated. An authorization signal is then transmitted from the remote terminal to an at-the-pump fuel control terminal.
Abstract: Digital rights management techniques are described that address traits of a behavior of a user population that is to interact with digital content as part of a virtual or augmented reality environment. A digital rights management (DRM) module is implemented to manage a digital rights management policy to dynamically address traits and changes to the traits of a behavior of users that consume the digital content as part of an augmented or virtual reality environment. In another example, the DRM module may be configured to control access to physical objects through use of digital content output by an output device as part of the augmented or virtual reality environment.
Abstract: A system and method of processing seismic data obtained using a plurality of towed single-component receivers in a marine environment is described, the towed single-component receivers configured to measure compressional P waves. The method comprises retrieving seismic data from a storage device, the seismic data comprising P-P data and shear mode data, wherein the P-P data and shear mode data were both received at the towed single-component receivers configured to measure compressional P waves to generate the seismic data. The method further comprises processing the seismic data to extract SV-P shear mode data and generating shear mode image data based on the extracted shear mode data.
