    Abstract: A lighting device with an annular rectangular light that connects to the camera assembly by mechanical linkages. The annular rectangular light can connect to different components of a camera. The annular rectangular light can connect to a matte box or rods of the camera in some embodiments. The mechanical linkages allow positioning of the annular rectangular light such that it surrounds the front of a lens of the camera but does not obstruct a field of view of the lens.
