The device comprises a body, the body having a front end and a rear end, and an upper surface between the front and rear ends, the upper surface providing the support surface, the body being constructed from a resilient material, such that in use, the material generates a resilient return force in response to the user's weight, said resilient return force encouraging a posture in which the user's pelvis is neutral or slightly anteriorly tilted.
