Abstract: A gangway has a proximal gangway element, a distal gangway element, a distal stanchion hinged to the distal gangway element, and a distal stanchion control mechanism for converting sliding movement of the distal gangway element into rotational movement of the distal stanchion. The distal stanchion control mechanism has a spring associated with the distal stanchion and configured to bias the distal stanchion towards a raised terminal position, a return bracket slidably mounted to the distal gangway element, and a cam member rotationally integral with the distal stanchion and configured to engage the return bracket. With the distal gangway element in the retracted terminal position, the return bracket abuts against a distal end of the proximal gangway element and is located in a distal terminal position relative to the distal gangway element. Raising of the distal stanchion is caused by movement of the distal gangway element relative to the return bracket.

Abstract: A movable platform assembly for a boat includes a support structure configured to be connected to the boat, a platform, and a horizontal translation system connecting the platform to the support structure, the horizontal translation system having a pair of main arms rotatable about respective vertical rotation axes, and a pair of main sliders sliding in a transverse direction along a main guide integral with the platform. Each main arm has a proximal end hinged to the support structure and a distal end hinged to a respective main slider. The platform is translatable between a retracted position and an extended position with respect to the support structure.

Abstract: A latching system for a door or window that includes a first snap stop member adapted to be arranged at a side edge of a leaf of the door or window, the first stop member includes a pawl rotatable about an axis perpendicular to the plane defined by the leaf; a second snap stop member adapted to be arranged at an upper edge of the leaf, the second stop member comprising a pivot translatable in a vertical direction; a handle rotatable so as to control the releasing movement of the first and second stop members, the handle being rotatable about a horizontal axis parallel to the plane defined by the leaf; and a first and a second transmission mechanism for converting a rotation of the handle into a rotation of the pawl and a translation of the pivot, respectively.

Abstract: A foldaway balcony that includes a vertical support, a platform structure tiltably mounted to the vertical support and a barrier structure mounted on the platform structure. The platform structure includes a support structure and a floor structure which are tiltable separately from one another relative to the vertical support. The barrier structure includes barrier elements, hinged at the edge of the platform structure, and tiltable between a stowed position in which they lie inside the support structure, and a deployed position, in which they stand up relative to the support structure. A barrier element, connected to a distal side of the edge of the platform structure includes a first and a second pair of stanchions hinged to the distal side, a first and a second rod which interconnect the upper ends of the stanchions, and a handrail with parallel guides, in which are housed the first and the second rods.

Abstract: A watertight door or window comprising a frame and a leaf mounted on the frame and arranged movably with respect thereto between an open position and closed position, and further comprising: a striker element arranged on the leaf, a locking element arranged on the frame and provided with a hook end designed to engage with the striker element so as to lock the leaf against the frame following closing of the leaf, and a striker actuating mechanism arranged on the leaf and able to be actuated when the leaf is in a closed position and the locking element is engaged with the striker element. The actuating mechanism is provided for releasing the striker element from a closed position, where the striker element is positioned inside a recess in the hook end of the locking element, to an open position, where the striker element is extracted from the recess in the hook end of the locking element. The actuating mechanism can be reset when the leaf is closed again.

Abstract: A movable platform structure including a base structure, a platform and an articulated system which connects the platform to the base structure, wherein the platform is movable between a raised position which is horizontally adjacent to the base structure and a lowered position which is horizontally far from the base structure. The platform assembly further includes a latching device switchable into a stable locking position for locking the platform against the base structure when the platform is in the raised position.
