    Abstract: Provided is an endoscope system including an elongated tube with one or more channels extending in a longitudinal direction along the elongated tube. The channels allow inserting of a viewing device for obtaining images from the distal end, inserting of surgical instruments to operate at the distal end, or passing of materials such as air or water. The channel for inserting the viewing device is enclosed or has a cover at the distal end of the elongated tube, such that the viewing device has no direct contact of body tissues, thereby eliminating the need for sterilization. Also provided is a safe and economical method for conducting endoscopy involving one-time use of a tube to keep the viewing device from directly contacting the body tissues.

The signal interceptor intercepts a first part of the combining signal corresponding to a first clock period of the horizontal scan period to obtain a first signal and intercepts a second part of the combining signal corresponding to a second clock period of the horizontal scan period to obtain a second signal. The calculating unit calculates the first signal and the second signal to obtain an image pixel data according to a differential calculation. The number of clocks of the first clock period is the same as the number of clocks of the second clock period.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an improved eyeglass frame having two upper half-rims of arc-shaped metal wires and two lower half-rims of high-tension strings to encircle and hold associated lenses. Each arc-shaped metal wire has hooks formed on its opposite ends, and each high-tension string has loops formed on its opposite ends to be caught by the hooks of the arc-shaped metal wire. The arc-shaped metal wire is relatively thick, and it is partly exposed from the circumferential groove of the lens, thereby permitting the bridge and temple to be soldered directly to the exposed portions of the metal wire. This arrangement has the effects of significant reduction of manufacturing cost and giving a neat appearance to the frame.
