  • Patent number: 11722582
Abstract: Responsive to a request to access heterogeneous repositories, a REST server queries a resource registry to find resources that match mapping information contained in the request. The resource registry returns resource registry tables containing the matching resources. The resource registry tables implement a unified data structure of a resource registry model and are generated at runtime by the resource registry mapping REST service configuration parameters to the fields of the unified data structure. The REST service configuration parameters are added to an extension SDK for REST extension developers to enhance REST service configuration for extension applications. The REST service configuration parameters are configured at implementation time and loaded/scanned into the REST server at runtime. The REST server iteratively evaluates the resource registry tables until all the matching resources have been evaluated.

  • Patent number: 11720618
Abstract: In an auto-classification system, example documents whose content exemplifies a content category or classification can be imported into a classification model. The classification model is tested to assess accuracy. Based on the testing, metrics or other information can be provided as feedback to a user. The user can iteratively refine the classification model and keep re-running the classifications to view how each change to the classification model improves accuracy. If no user refinement is desired, the auto-classification system classifies documents utilizing the classification model. This technology enhances the overall transparency and defensibility of the auto-classification process.

  • Patent number: 11709841
Abstract: A method for to manage concurrent access to a shared resource in a distributed computing environment. A reference counter counts is incremented for every use of an object subtype in a session and decremented for every release of an object subtype in a session. A session counter is incremented upon the first instance of fetching an object type into a session cache and decremented upon having no instances of the object type in use in the session. When both the reference counter and the session counter are zero, the object type may be removed from the cache.

  • Patent number: 11700238
Abstract: A system having an off-premises proxy server residing in a cloud computing environment and backend servers residing in an enterprise computing environment are provided. Requests received by the off-premises proxy server for access to a first, non-publicly accessible backend server are routed to a tunnel server which stores the request and waits to be polled by a tunnel agent connected to the first backend server. When the tunnel server is polled, the request is forwarded through an HTTP tunnel to the tunnel agent, which forwards it to the backend server for processing. Responsive information is returned to the tunnel agent, which forwards it through the HTTP tunnel to the tunnel server and returned through the off-premises proxy server to the remote application. Requests for access to a first, publicly accessible backend server are routed by the off-premises proxy server directly to the backend server for processing and return of responsive information.

  • Publication number: 20230216770
Abstract: An activity stream based interaction model is disclosed. To cause a desired application level action to be performed at a remote system, such as automatically retrieving and displaying a document in a viewer or other portion of a user interface at the remote system, a text-based tag, such as a hash tag, is inserted into an activity stream. The activity stream is sent to the remote system, which is configured to respond to the text-based tag by performing, at least in part automatically, the corresponding application level action.

  • Patent number: 11694459
Abstract: Disclosed is an approach of on-device partial recognition that includes performing partial recognition on an image of a document captured by a mobile device to detect and/or recognize a specific area (e.g., barcodes, non-relevant text, etc.) and filling the recognized area with a solid color. Because the solid color area has a maximum compression ratio, this approach can lead to image size reduction and increased network throughput for client-server based data recognition where further processing such as advanced data extraction is performed at the server side. The approach can be enforced with neural network algorithms to exclude non-relevant information (e.g., logos, phrases, words, etc.).

  • Patent number: 11687537
Abstract: One embodiment comprises a data processing system for populating selections in an evaluation operator interface. The system may record voice sessions of phone calls, transcribe the voice sessions and store transactions including the voice sessions and transcripts. The system receives a request from a client computer for an evaluation to evaluate a transaction that was assigned an automated score according to the automated scoring template based on a transcript of the transaction having matched a lexicon. The system generates the evaluation. Generating the evaluation comprises setting an answer control for a question in the evaluation to a preselected answer based on a defined correspondence between the automated score and the preselected answer, the preselected answer selected from a defined set of acceptable answers to the question. The system may generate page code for the answer control that sets the answer control to the preselected answer.

  • Patent number: 11681507
Abstract: A method includes displaying an application page at a client system, the application page including a context menu container object that is not visibly displayed as part of the application page. During the display of the application page, the context menu container object holds a current set of context menu options and is responsive to a prescribed input to display the context menu as having the current set of context menu options. Further, during display of the application page, the context menu container object consumes events, evaluates logic to determine context menu options to display based on the first event, updates the current set of context menu options and displays the context menu as having the current set of context menu options.

  • Patent number: 11681874
Abstract: An AI platform may receive a request for information on text. The text is processed through a text mining pipeline for dynamic attribute extraction. An engine determines entities in the text and utilizes the entities to determine a relationship pattern. The engine identifies a trigger by matching one of the entities with a predefined entity in a utility authority file, locates an entity in close proximity to the trigger, identifies a value or regular expression in close proximity to the trigger in the text, and creates a triplet containing the entity, the trigger, and the value or regular expression, the triplet representing the relationship pattern. The engine applies an action to the triplet, wherein the action comprises obtaining the value from the text or translating the regular expression. The engine attaches the value or a result from the translating to the entity as a dynamic attribute of the entity.

  • Patent number: 11677827
Abstract: Content categories are identified based on content provided by a server associated with an enterprise content management system. Using the relationship database, a content category is identified based on content associated with a client associated with a user, the content associated with the client associated with the user including content accessed by the user. A document associated with the content category is identified. A message is sent from the server to the client associated with the user to suggest to the user the document associated with the content category.

  • Patent number: 11675970
Abstract: Systems, methods, and products for auto tagging structured PDF documents that do not have accessibility tags. In one embodiment, structured PDF documents having accessibility tags are first parsed and analyzed to organize the visual components of the documents. The relationships of the identified objects to DOM elements (e.g., tags) are determined, and the objects and related DOM elements are stored in training files. The training files are used to train various classifiers. Untagged PDF documents are then parsed to identify included visual objects, and the classifiers are used to determine DOM elements that should be associated with visual objects identified in the untagged PDF documents. This information is used to construct a DOM structure corresponding to each untagged document. A new PDF is then generated corresponding to each untagged document using the generated DOM structure and visual object information.

  • Patent number: 11635879
Abstract: Disclosed are mechanisms for sharing content through content consumption systems. A sharing module publishes content in a share and metadata associated therewith to a content consumption system external to a managed repository. The share represents a folder or directory in the managed repository. The publication can be made through application programming interface (API) calls handled by a first sharing module API, a repository API, a second sharing module API, and a content consumption system API. These APIs together provide a one-to-one mapping of communications protocols used by the managed repository and the external system. The share in the managed repository and the share published to the content consumption system are synced and any conflict between the two is detected and resolved. The shared content can be repatriated back to the managed repository and the shared version deleted from the content consumption system.

  • Patent number: 11637828
Abstract: Disclosed are hybrid authentication systems and methods that enable users to seamlessly sign-on between cloud-based services and on-premises systems. A cloud-based authentication service receives login credentials from a user and delegates authentication to an on-premises authentication service proxy. The login credentials can be passed by the cloud-based authentication service to the on-premises authentication service proxy, for instance, as an access token in an authentication header. The access token can be a JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) Web Token (JWT) token that is digitally signed using JSON Web Signature. Some embodiments utilize a tunnel connection through which the cloud-based authentication service communicates with the on-premises authentication service proxy. Some embodiments leverage an on-premises identity management system for user management and authentication.
