The electronic lead, once generated, is made available to a licensed dealer before the dealer acquires the inventory corresponding to the lead. In contrast to known lead generation models, the lead is created on a specific vehicle that a retail dealer has the ability to purchase, but has not yet taken into inventory.

Abstract: A computer implemented method for searching data in a plurality of data sources is described. At a host system, a request to search a local data source is received. The request is associated with a user account of the local data source. The request is processed to determine one or more third party data sources associated with the user account. Local search parameters associated with the local data source and third party search parameters associated with the one or more third party data sources are dynamically assembled. The local search parameters and the third party search parameters are transmitted to a client device for display. A host system comprising a processor and memory storing instructions for implementing the method is also described.

Abstract: Systems and methods for system login and single sign-on are described. A first application of a first system receives a request to access a protected application of a second system. An assertion is generated in response to the request. The assertion asserts an identity in the first system of a user generating the request. The assertion is validated and first account information corresponding to the assertion is extracted. The first account information is information of a first account of the user in the first system. Second account information is determined that is information of a second account of the user in the second system. A mapping is generated between the first account and the second account using the first account information and the second account information. The mapping is used to provide access to the protected application by the requestor.

The access group data structure includes structure that defines association of web sites, users and vehicles associated with an access group. Whether vehicles are visible on respective web sites is controlled based on the access group, and access by the user is allowed to respective items in the access group based on whether a user is associated with the access group. Another embodiment includes providing an access group object, wherein the access group object includes properties that define association of web sites, users and vehicles associated with an access group. Another embodiment is directed to a computerized system for vehicle sale including a web server.

The system may also include a server coupled to the database that serves user interface pages; a login mechanism; logic implementing rules regarding a relationship between system users on the one hand and information regarding vehicles and customer accounts on the other hand; a search mechanism and a search results interface; and logic that serves a customer account interface, the customer account interface displaying information regarding customer accounts to the extent allowed by rules regarding the relationship between system users and information regarding vehicles and customer accounts. The information regarding customer accounts may include information regarding payments and time remaining in leases in respective customer accounts, or other information.
