    Abstract: Disclosed herein is an imaging apparatus including: a variable configuration mirror provided with a reflecting surface for changing optical path and a plurality of electrodes on which voltage is applied to change the configuration of the reflecting surface; an image taking section having the variable configuration mirror as a part of its optical system; and a control section for driving the variable configuration mirror by applying voltage only on one part of the plurality of electrodes provided on the variable configuration mirror.
