  • Patent number: 6181741
Abstract: The back end position of a pulse, which is transmitted from a remote control, varies according to the transmission distance, and the pulse width changes. A remote control receiver of the present invention detects the pulse width of a header, which is formed at the head of each frame in a remote control signal from the remote control, so as to detect the transmission distance of the remote control signal and a change in back end position of each pulse in a data part, which is transmitted after the header. Then, the back end position of each pulse is corrected to original. This eliminates the change in pulse width resulting from a change in transmission distance, and increases the allowable range of the transmission distance of the remote control.

  • Patent number: 5759100
Abstract: A game machine controller according to the present invention is provided with a memory pack equipped with a nonvolatile memory. The memory pack is able to store a plurality of commands designated by a predetermined button operation as command programs. Once the data is stored, it is retained unless it is compulsorily rewritten or deleted. The command program stored in the memory pack is retrieved and executed by a simple operation of the command buttons. The memory pack can be attached and detached freely so that it can conform to each software. As a result, once the command programs are stored, there is no need to renew the command programs every time the game software is replaced.

  • Patent number: 5700415
Abstract: A molded article having a large undercut part is efficiently produced by a method of molding a synthetic resin with the use of an apparatus comprising an outer mold (S) and an inner mold (N) arranged so as to form a cavity (C) inside the outer mold (S), said inner mold (N) comprising a central mold segment having a part whose size is reduced toward its head and mold segments (6, 7) for forming an inner surface of a molded article which are supported so as to be able to meet and get apart from each other around the central mold segment (4) and divided into a plurality of separate segments, wherein said mold segments for forming the inner surface of the molded article are rendered movable toward the center of the apparatus by moving the central mold segment and wherein the inner mold (N) is withdrawn in the form of its size reduced as a whole from inside the molded article (21) supported in the outer mold (S).

  • Patent number: 5087125
Abstract: An equipment for measuring difference in elevation employing a leveling pole and a level is disclosed. The leveling pole comprises divisions of coded marks each indicating height at a unit interval. The level comprises a telescope and an image sensor. The output signal of the sensor is decoded for display of digital height value. A plate glass is provided in front of an object lens for vertical compensation of an optical axis of the telescope. An inclination angle of the plate glass required for compensation is used for interpolation between two adjacent coded marks.

  • Patent number: 4733069
Abstract: Known absolute type position encoders have poor resolution due to bits density of tracks formed on an encoding member and mechanical size of sensors opposed to the encoding member for reading absolute position data from the tracks. This invention provides a position encoder comprising a laser scanning type encoding member on which data tracks aligned at equal intervals in a moving direction of a part to be position-measured. A sensor with a single laser beam deflectable along the track is used for reading the position data. High resolution is obtained since it depends upon recorded pitch of tracks. Many data can be recorded on each track, including error correction code for the position code. It improves reliability of the encoder.
