  • Patent number: 12560409
Abstract: A light filter antenna configured to be used with a weapon is provided. The light filter antenna includes a housing, a filter unit disposed within the housing, and one or more radar antennae deposited on a surface of the filter unit. The filter unit can be configured to prevent light having a threshold wavelength from passing through the filter unit. The one or more radar antennae can be configured to capture a velocity of a projectile fired from the weapon. A method of manufacturing a light filter antenna is provided. The method includes depositing one or more radar antennae on a filter unit and installing the filter unit within a housing. The filter unit can be configured to prevent light having a threshold wavelength from passing through the filter unit. The one or more radar antennae can be configured to capture a velocity of a projectile fired from a weapon.

  • Patent number: 12352533
Abstract: Use of a muzzle velocity detector with a display allows for a rapid calculation of a second shot firing solution based on a first shot analysis. A doppler radar emitter and detector is located in a housing. The housing has a mount that allows it to be coupled to a hand guard on a rifle. This allows for the muzzle velocity to be detected very close to the end of the barrel. Information about the bullet can be preloaded into a ballistics calculator. The ballistics calculator can be integrated with the muzzle velocity detector or coupled wirelessly to it. The impact location of the first shot is identified and that “drift” is used with muzzle velocity and many other factors to quickly provide a compensation to be used with the sight to ensure the second shot is more accurate.

  • Publication number: 20140211033
Abstract: A sighting system is disclosed, comprising a housing with small upper minor mounted in its upper center, redirecting light from a single objective lens set, and a larger lower mirror mounted coaxially relative to the lens set and upper minor, both mirrors set at 45° and redirecting light at 90° angles to the lens set. The smaller mirror is positioned closer than the lower minor to the lens set. A night camera system is used for receiving an image through the lens set redirected by the lower mirror and amplified through an intensifier before transmission to a video display monitor(s). A day camera system receiving the image from the lens set redirected by the smaller minor transmits the image to the monitor(s) for separate display of the image, enabling simultaneous capture of the optimum amount of light by each camera, maximizing the housing's diametrical space to receive incoming light.
