Abstract: Assemblies for mounting X-ray generating apparatus, and permitting the horizontal and vertical adjustment thereof, are provided, which mounting assemblies comprise(a) a frame comprising a pair of horizontally spaced vertical members and one or more horizontal members extending transversely across the vertical members;(b) a first carriage extending transversely across the vertical members of the frame;(c) slidable engaging means for enabling the first carriage to travel vertically up and down in respect to the vertical members of the frame;(d) a second carriage comprising means for attaching X-ray generating apparatus;(e) slidable engaging means for enabling the second carriage to travel horizontally from side to side in respect to the first carriage; and(f) removable decorator panels mounted to said frame.
