  • Patent number: 11717846
Abstract: A pair of identical, specially-shaped, and specially-sized flow diverters is provided. In order to concentrate the flow of water passing over a waterfall, such as an ornamental backyard spa or swimming pool waterfall, a first flow diverter is attached adjacent a first sidewall of the waterfall structure, and a second flow diverter is attached adjacent a second sidewall of the waterfall structure. Water passing by the sidewalls is directed inwardly away from the sidewalls, thereby narrowing the flow of water over the fall and reducing overspray and reducing mineral build up and scale problems. In one novel aspect, an assemblage (a saleable product) includes a product container, the pair of flow diverters disposed in the container, a tube of silicone adhesive disposed in the container, and a set of printed usage instructions disposed in the container.

  • Patent number: 11540326
Abstract: A radio performs random access by receiving control information and grouping a predetermined number of sequences that are generated from a plurality of base sequences into a plurality of groups by partitioning the predetermined number of sequences. At least one of the groups is associated with a first respective range of data amounts and a first respective range of reception qualities. Sequences generated from a common base sequence are arranged in an increasing order of respective cyclic shifts associated with the sequences. A sequence is randomly selected from a plurality of sequences contained in one group of the plurality of groups. A position at which the predetermined number of sequences are partitioned is determined based on the control information. A number of sequences contained in each of the plurality of groups varies in accordance with the control information.

  • Patent number: 11477767
Abstract: A radio terminal in a radio communication system receives a physical downlink control signal comprising a control field and a new data indicator (NDI) field and determines that a value of the NDI field is one of a first value and a second value. A physical uplink shared channel signal is generated according to both a specific transport format and a specific redundancy version. The control field is used to determine the specific transport format when the NDI field is determined to be the first value, and the control field is used to determine the specific redundancy version when the NDI field is determined to be the second value.

  • Patent number: 11432281
Abstract: The downlink control channels in a control region of each downlink subframe in a telecommunication system are divided into at least one common subset of the downlink control channels and a plurality of group subsets of the downlink control channels, such that the common subset or each common subset will be decoded by every user equipment, and each group subset will be decoded only by a limited group of user equipments. Resource assignment messages for a user equipment can then be transmitted on a downlink control channel of the relevant group subset, to avoid the need for messages to be decoded by a large number of UEs that will not act on them, while broadcast messages can be transmitted on a downlink control channel of the relevant common subset, to avoid the need for messages to be transmitted many times.

  • Patent number: 11310681
Abstract: A PDCP status report can be transmitted with reduced radio resources by transmitting the reception success or failure of a series of PDCP service data units (SDUs) in the form of a bitmap when configuring the PDCP status report. A PDCP control packet data unit (PDU) is generated to communicate a status report to a transmitting node for one or more PDCP SDUs transmitted from the transmitting node. The PDCP control PDU includes a data/control (D/C) bit field to indicate the PDCP control PDU is a control PDU, a control PDU type field to indicate a type of corresponding control information, a sequence number field to indicate a first missing PDCP SDU, and a bitmap field for a variable length bitmap. A bit in the variable length bitmap indicates whether a corresponding one of the one or more PDCP SDUs has been successfully been received.

  • Patent number: 11272449
Abstract: A random access channel (RACH) procedure includes a mobile terminal receiving from a network a message that indicates a RACH preamble for the mobile terminal. The terminal transmits the RACH preamble to the network and then receives a RACH response from the network. The terminal monitors a downlink channel according to a discontinuous reception (DRX) active time for radio resource allocation information for a data transmission by the terminal. The DRX active time specifies a time until the radio resource allocation information for the data transmission is indicated.

  • Patent number: 11206100
Abstract: Provided is a radio communication device which can suppress inter-code interference between an ACK/NACK signal and a CQI signal which are code-multiplexed. A diffusion unit (214) diffuses the ACK/NACK signal inputted from a judgment unit (208) by using a ZC sequence. A diffusion unit (219) diffuses the CQI signal by using a cyclic shift ZC sequence. By using a Walsh sequence, a diffusion unit (216) further diffuses the ACK/NACK signal which has been diffused by using the ZC sequence. A control unit (209) controls the diffusion unit (214), the diffusion unit (216), and the diffusion unit (219) so that the minimum value of the difference between the CQI signals from a plurality of mobile stations and a cyclic shift amount of the ACK/NACK signal is not smaller than the minimum value of the difference between the cyclic shift amounts of the ACK/NACK signals from the plurality of mobile stations.

  • Patent number: 11184884
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and arrangements that make it possible to control the delay for the UEs to access the EUL resources in the Enhanced Uplink in CELL_FACH state procedure, independently from the delay for the UEs to access ordinary UL resources in the RACH procedure. This is achieved by a solution where the timing of entering (or re-entering) a transmission procedure for Enhanced Uplink in CELL_FACH state is controlled with the help of a transmission control parameter defined specifically for this transmission procedure, instead of using the same parameter as for the RACH procedure.
