Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for hyperspectral imaging are described. In certain implementations, a hyperspectral imaging system is provided. The system includes an illumination unit, an imaging unit, and a control unit in communication with the illumination unit and the imaging unit. The illumination unit includes a plurality of LEDs configured to emit light comprising at least one spectral band. The imaging unit includes an image sensor configured to capture an image of a target region of an imaging subject. The control unit performs synchronized control of the activation of the plurality of LEDs based on an activation pattern and the capture of images of the target region by the image sensor.
