Abstract: An aspect of the present invention simplifies grouping of data items previously stored in a database, the data items being stored in the form of rows and columns in respective tables (in the database). In one embodiment, a system displays a cross product of values from two or more columns in the form of multiple lines, where each line contains a respective value from each of the two or more columns to specify a corresponding criterion (combination of values). In response to receiving inputs indicating the respective groups for each of the lines, the system determines a group for each data item (stored in the database) based on the received inputs. A user is accordingly required to only specify the desired groups corresponding to various combinations of values of the columns to cause grouping of data items in the database.

Abstract: A system and method for determining outsourcing suitability of at least one business process in an enterprise. The method comprising screening at least one business process in the enterprise to obtain a first set of business processes, wherein the first set of business processes can potentially be outsourced. The method further comprising evaluating each potential-business-process corresponding to the first set of business process on a predefined criterion to obtain a second set of business process, wherein the second set of business processes can be outsourced. Also, a migration plan is prepared corresponding to potential-business-processes corresponding to the second set of business processes.

Abstract: Customer relationships, particularly in a business-to-business environment, are evaluated and enhanced by generating actionable inferences through the measurement and analysis of both customer satisfaction and customer importance. Customer satisfaction information is captured from both an internal channel comprising key internal customer contacts or boundary employees, as well as an external channel comprising representatives from a plurality of identified respondent profile groups. Customer Importance is also considered in the overall analysis and interpretation of the customer satisfaction.

Abstract: A method and system for providing support for a Java™ based software application in a communication system. The communication system includes a support server communicating with an application server. The Java™ based software application has a plurality of instances installed on the application server. The method includes receiving a first attribute-list corresponding to an instance of the Java™ based software application from the application server based on an operating environment of the instance. The method further includes comparing a second attribute-list stored on the support server with the first attribute-list. Thereafter, based on the comparison, a diagnostic report for the instance of the Java™ based software application is displayed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method, system and computer program product for displaying a flexible schedule for repayment of a loan. The method comprises computing an effective rate of interest on the basis of a nominal rate of interest and a compounding frequency and calculating installments to be paid based on a principal loan amount, a loan term, a disbursement date, the effective rate of interest and a predetermined set of parameters. Multiple installments of a fixed or variable amount can be paid in a particular period of time. The method facilitates entering user selected parameters such as accrual basis, bullet payment amount and period, payment holiday period and incrementing and/or decrementing installments in corresponding predefined period(s).

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for facilitating verification of an entity against a reference database. The entity is characterized by corresponding attributes. The method obtains a set of attributes from the attributes based on a set of predefined parameters. Further, the method selects a set of algorithms corresponding to each attribute belonging to the set of attributes. Thereafter, the method executes one or more algorithms belonging to a set of algorithms corresponding to each attribute.
