Abstract: Techniques for implementing an infrastructure orchestration service are described. In certain embodiments, a cloud infrastructure orchestration system (CIOS) is disclosed that generates customized flock configurations for services to be deployed to different regions supported by the CIOS. The CIOS receives generic configuration information describing a set of infrastructure assets associated with a service and identifies first portions of the generic configuration information for deploying the set of infrastructure assets associated with the service that are configurable. The CIOS receives region configuration information for configuring the generic configuration information and updates the generic configuration information based on the region configuration information. The CIOS then transmits the updated configuration information to set of regions managed by the CIOS.

Abstract: A computer program product, system, and computer implemented method for generating a software image as a service for deployment by receiving a request for a software image, determining, via a conflict checker, whether conflicts arise between one-off patch updates, a release version of the software and/or RUs, retrieving the release version of the software, and RUs and one-off patch updates that do not have a conflict, installing the release version of the software, the RUs retrieved, and the one-off patch updates retrieved as a test image into a testing environment, testing the test image, upon successful completion of the testing of the test image, formatting the test image into the output format requested, the gold image indicating the test image has been successfully tested and is ready for deployment.

Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for providing web container partitions in an application server environment. The application server environment can include a domain with one or more partitions, each partition associated with one or more virtual targets, and each virtual target including configuration information for a web server that hosts one or more applications deployed to that virtual target. Each virtual target can register configuration information of its associated web server with a web container. When receiving a request for accessing an application in a particular partition, the web container can examine information in the host header of the request and virtual target configuration information in the web container, to find a matching web server for dispatching the request.

Abstract: One embodiment in accordance with the invention relates to inserting data (e.g., XML data) from a database into an electronic template form that includes a table. Furthermore, each table can expand to fit any amount of inserted data and can also expand onto additional pages. The additional pages may have the format of supplemental pages that include the expanded table or that of duplicate pages that also include the other information (e.g., brief description of the table, letterhead, etc.) that was included on the first page. The font size and space can be calculated along with the line wrap for the supplemental page format or duplicate page format.

Abstract: A database statement contains a table function. The database statement is compiled by a database statement compiler. The database statement is rewritten by replacing the table function with a replacement database statement.
