Abstract: A method is described for determining a graph modelling a zone comprising at least one transmitting device for backscattering an ambient signal, emitted by a transmitting device, towards a receiving device (for detection by said receiving device. The method includes obtaining at least one coverage area of said zone, said at least one coverage area having been determined for a location of said zone and corresponding to a datum identifying the transmitting device or devices detected by the receiving device when the transmitting device occupies said location. The method also includes determining a graph of which at least one vertex consists of said at least one coverage area, two vertices of said graph being connected by an edge if the coverage areas relating to said two vertices comprise at least one transmitting device detected in common.

Abstract: A method is described for implementing a current service of a chain of n services, the method including receiving, from the service preceding the current service in the chain, a first routing token comprising message routing data between the services in the chain, and verifying that the current service is a legitimate recipient of the first routing token. After implementing a function of the current service, the method also includes generating a current chaining token from a data of evidence of a passage through the current service, and transmitting, to the service following the current service in the chain, the current chaining token and a second routing token determined from the first routing token.

Abstract: A method of matching a set to be evaluated and a reference list, the reference list being associated with a reference vector representative of the entries in the list. Such a method of matching includes: calculating a distance between the reference vector and a vector, associated with the set to evaluate, representative of elements contained in the set to evaluate, the elements comprising character strings and groups of character strings; for each entry in the reference list, calculating a first matching score for the set to evaluate and for the entry in the reference list, on the basis of the distance calculated between the reference vector and the vector associated with the set to evaluate; providing a list of entries from the reference list ordered according to the first calculated matching scores.

Abstract: In a vehicle to anything environment, in order to allow the broadcasting of periodic messages, the emitter equipment regularly verifies whether time-frequency resources of a radio signal are used or not. When the emitter equipment detects an available time-frequency resource, it selects it and uses it to broadcast its messages. The duration necessary for the emitter equipment to listen to all the time-frequency resources is approximately one second. Such a listening duration represents a disadvantage for services requiring a short latency, such as services requiring the broadcasting of aperiodic messages. The solution allows an emitter equipment to select a time-frequency resource at any moment according to its needs without having to regularly verify whether or not time-frequency resources are used to broadcast data. Thus, the latency is greatly reduced.

Abstract: A system for storing a graph-oriented time database, including a set of containers associated with adjacent time windows, a container containing a sequence of successive modifications of the graph over a time window with which it is associated. At least some of the containers, called reference containers, also contain a snapshot of the graph within the tine widow associated with the reference container, called reference snapshot. At least some other containers, called delta containers, contain a difference image between two snapshots of the graph, respectively associated with the start and with the end of the time window associated with the delta container.

Abstract: A method for managing access by a managing entity to content available on at least a first server providing the content in the form of data segments over a data telecommunication network and a second server providing a streaming service separate from the data telecommunication network. The method includes, in the managing entity, the selection of a server out of the first server and the second server, and, when the second server is selected: a request for access to a content from the second server; the encoding of a stream of segments based on the content; the publication of information relating to the content suitable for making it possible to decode the stream of segments.

Abstract: A method and a device for personalizing generic multimedia content, an access method and a device for providing access to an item of personalized multimedia content, a method for requesting access to an item of generic multimedia content, a terminal implementing the same, and platforms for providing access to multimedia content. The method for personalizing an item of generic multimedia content is triggered by an action on the item of generic multimedia content by a terminal of a user and provides an item of personalized multimedia content on the basis of the generic multimedia content and a profile of the user, the profile of the user being determined prior to the action. Thus, the personalization of an item of generic multimedia content is carried out automatically as soon as a user performs an action on this content, possibly in a manner transparent to the user.

Abstract: The method concerns goods or services based on a blockchain information decentralised storage technology. Blockchain infrastructures have been enriched with smart contracts. The emergence of these smart contracts opens up new applications for blockchains, particularly in the exchange of services. However, the lack of confidentiality of solutions based on the use of smart contracts is an obstacle to their development. In order to solve this problem, the method is based on the introduction of an oracle capable of processing encrypted offers without having access to the decrypted content of these offers. An oracle is a third-party service run by several nodes, interfacing the blockchain network with the world. An oracle can feed external information back to a smart contract, or perform calculations on behalf of the smart contract in order to reduce the latter's calculation costs. Oracles are trusted entities.

Abstract: A method for managing an electronic device configured to communicate with at least one user terminal and with at least one server. The method is implemented by the server and includes: receiving, from the electronic device, a request to identify at least one user terminal for managing the electronic device; and transmitting, to the at least one identified user terminal, a notification request allowing a managing application on the at least one identified user terminal to be activated.

Abstract: Methods for authenticating and integrating user equipment into an information system, corresponding devices and computer programs. Integration of new user equipment into an operator's information system uses communication protocols providing the authentication of the user equipment and guaranteeing integrity and confidentiality of messages exchanged between the user equipment and a user equipment management server of the information system. The user equipment is provided, at the time of manufacture, with an authentication certificate supplied to the manufacturer by the operator managing the information system in which the equipment is to be integrated. This requires cumbersome and inflexible logistics to implement and limits the choice of users as to which user equipment they might wish to integrate.

Abstract: A method for detecting presence of a person using a communicating device connected to a wireless communication network, within a determined environment in which a radio-frequency tag configured to backscatter ambient signals is located at a known geographical position. The method includes: transmitting over the wireless network, by the communicating device, an ambient signal within the environment; backscattering, by a the tag, the ambient signal to form a backscattered signal, the backscattered signal including identification data of the tag; receiving the backscattered signal by a network apparatus connected to the wireless network and obtaining, from the backscattered signal, the identification data of the tag and a network identifier of the communicating device; and recording, in a database, an item of presence information of the communicating device within the environment, which includes the identification data, the network identifier and a date of receipt of the backscattered signal.

Abstract: A method for defending against an attempt of disconnection between two entities corresponding to a network access point and a client device. The method includes, after the establishment of an initial connection between the two entities, a set of steps implemented by one or each of the two entities: receiving a set of disconnection requests; evaluating at least one criterion) defined from a metric based on the set of requests or on at least one other disconnection request received after the receipt of the set of requests, so as to allow the detection of a malicious disconnection attempt. The method further includes, if at least one criterion is met for at least one of the two entities, executing, by at least one of the two entities, a process for protecting against the malicious disconnection attempt.

Abstract: A method for managing a phase for requesting pairing of a data processing device. The method includes the following steps in an entity external to the data processing device: detecting a pairing request phase from the data processing device; obtaining an elapsed duration linked to the pairing request phase; and requesting termination of the pairing phase beyond a given duration.

Abstract: A method for decoding a coded data stream representing an image. The method includes for a current block: reading from the stream a block size threshold value; determining whether the current block size is less than or equal to the threshold value; if so, decoding information indicating a first or second coding mode and reconstructing the current block according to the indicated mode, and if not, reconstructing the current block according to the first mode. In the first mode the current block is reconstructed using an inverse transform of a transformed prediction residue decoded for the current block, and in the second mode the current block is not reconstructed using such an inverse transform, but by: scanning each pixel of the block, including: obtaining a prediction of the pixel from another previously decoded pixel, and reconstructing the pixel from the prediction and a decoded prediction residue.

Abstract: A method for managing a request to activate a packet data session for a user terminal capable of transmitting and receiving data over a communications network organized into network slices. The user terminal includes a subscription identifier for at least one of the slices of the network. The method is implemented by at least one network device and includes: receiving a request to activate a packet data session from the user terminal for a network slice, the activation request including an identifier of the requested slice, which is obtained from a parameter comprising one or more user-subscribed slice identifiers; obtaining, from the subscription identifier, an item of information for determining an authorization for the requested slice; verifying the authorization for the requested slice taking into account the item of information and, if the verification is negative, rejecting the request to activate a packet data session for the requested slice.

Abstract: A method for access control to a wireless local area communication network, including a gateway for accessing the local area network and a plurality of user terminals capable of being connected to the local area network via the access gateway. The access control of one of the user terminals to the network includes: authenticating the user terminal on the basis of an item of information derived from a biometric print of a user of the user terminal, and applying, to the user terminal, a network access profile personalized for the user to whom the biometric print belongs.

Abstract: A determination of a priority to be assigned to a vehicle, carried out by a server. The determination includes: collecting, from a communication network, data concerning at least the identifiers of communicating devices, one of the collected identifiers being associated with the vehicle, determining a number of collocated identifiers according to a selected collocation criterion, the identifier associated with the vehicle being one of the collocated identifiers, and if the number is greater than a threshold, assigning the vehicle a first priority, and if the number is below the threshold, assigning the vehicle a second priority that is lower than the first priority.

Abstract: A method for configuring a transmitter device (TX) equipped with a plurality of antenna elements is described, the method making it possible both to adjust the electric field of beam F_1 so that the regulatory constraint is observed and to improve the rate received by a receiver device in the case of the signal following path P_2, by ensuring that the electric field of beam F_2 is equal to that of beam F_1, while still observing the regulatory constraint. In other words, the electric field of beams F_1 and F_2 is identical and maximized while still observing the regulatory constraint. As a result, the operation criterion is improved.

Abstract: A method to process a request for activation of a service operated by a local communication network managed by a gateway to access a remote communication network. The method is implemented by the gateway and includes: receiving a service activation request from a user terminal connected to the gateway, the request including at least one user identifier; obtaining, from a service identifier, at least one identifier of a resource of the local network to be invoked in order to execute the service; and checking an activation state of the at least one resource, and when the at least one resource is in a standby state, transmitting a wake-up message to the at least one resource.

Abstract: A method for differentiating traffic is described. The method is implemented by a gateway between a first and a second network, and comprises inserting a piece of marking information into a label field of a packet transmitted by this gateway and intended to be routed to the second network in order to differentiate whether the packet has been generated by the gateway, or whether the packet has been generated by a terminal of the first network connected to the gateway, and sending the packet to the second network.
