Abstract: Services for detecting and mitigating computer attacks are proposed by some access providers to their customers. However, sometimes a message to request support for the management of attacks issued by a node of a client domain under computer attack is sent to a mitigation server that is unable to process it. Such a request will be systematically rejected and no mitigation action will be implemented. The present solution makes it possible to ensure that no request message issued by a node goes unanswered, even if it is transmitted to a mitigation server that is unable to process it. To this end, when a mitigation server determines that it is unable to process a request message, instead of rejecting this request, it will seek to identify at least one other mitigation server that would be able to process this request message.

Abstract: A method for locating an object includes: obtaining at least one item of identification data of at least one object, the item of identification data coming from a backscattering of at least one ambient signal; and if the at least one ambient signal is transmitted following at least one uplink between at least one transmitter device and at least one receiver device, determining a location of the object from the item of identification data and at least one item of location data of the at least one transmitter device; or, if the at least one ambient signal is transmitted following at least one downlink between at least one transmitter device and at least one receiver device, determining a location of the at least one object from the item of identification data and at least one item of location data of the at least one receiver device.

Abstract: A method for modifying a multimedia content received by at least one first communication terminal from a second communication terminal. The method is implemented by a modification device and includes: obtaining at least one first datum representative of a multimedia sequence defined by a time frame of the multimedia content; obtaining at least one second datum representative of the activity of a user on the first terminal during the time frame; and modifying the multimedia content according to the result of the comparison of the first datum with the second datum.

Abstract: A method and a device for making available electric charge in order to charge an electronic card including a near-field communication module by way of a terminal. The terminal has what is known as a reader mode in which it is able to supply power to the card in near-field mode and receive data from the card. The method includes the following steps, on the terminal, set to reader mode, so as to generate an electromagnetic field able to charge such an electronic card: initializing the communication between the terminal and the card; receiving a message from the card, the message containing at least one datum telling the terminal that it should maintain the electric charge; and maintaining the electric charge while remaining in reader mode.

Abstract: A method for protecting a stream of packets in a network composed of packet router nodes and stream transmitter and receiver nodes. The receiver node is connected to a router node handling routing of a packet to the receiver node according to an expected value of a protection parameter included in at least one field of a packet of the stream. The method is implemented by a device associated with the receiver node and includes: transmitting to the router node connected to the receiver node a message containing the expected value of the protection parameter. A method is also provided for filtering a stream of packets, which is implemented by the router node connected to the receiver node and includes: receiving from a device associated with the receiver node a message containing the expected value of the protection parameter, and filtering packets not containing the expected value of the parameter.

Abstract: A device and a method for controlling radiation from a local radio wave communication device, in particular the radiation of radio waves for a local wireless communication device, such as Wifi™, Bluetooth™ etc. The control device includes a controller of a direction of transmission of local radio waves from the communication device. Thus, since the direction of transmission of the radio waves is controlled, a broadcasting thereof to outside of a residence can be avoided and risk of hacking can be limited. In addition, this can also reduce unnecessary exposure to radio waves, in particular by avoiding the transmission of radio waves to bedrooms.

Abstract: Methods for traffic redirection, corresponding terminal, controller, authorization server, name resolution servers and computer program. A name resolution method implemented in a terminal connected to a communication network includes: transmitting, to a first name resolution server, a name resolution message via a secure communication channel between the terminal and the first name resolution server; if a redirection of the DNS traffic of the terminal is authorized, obtaining at least one identifier of a second name resolution server for the redirection; and executing at least one action for managing the redirection of the DNS traffic of the terminal to the second name resolution server, at least from among: verifying legitimacy of the second name resolution server, sending an indication of a failure of a connection of the terminal with the second name resolution server; and requesting deactivation of the redirection of the DNS traffic to the second name resolution server.

Abstract: A method for configuring a first autonomous system in a transit network is described. The method includes obtaining information according to which the traffic received by an ingress router of the first autonomous system is saturated, and determining a prefix of a destination subnet of a third autonomous system downstream of the first autonomous system. The method also includes extending the path associated with the prefix on at least one target router of the first autonomous system, the prefix and the at least one target router being determined by optimizing an objective function so that the path associated with the prefix must be extended for all the ingress routers of the first autonomous system which are geographically closer to the saturated router than the target router.

Abstract: Method and device for authentication of non-revocation. A revocation list includes at least one pair extracted from a signature generated by a revoked entity, where hi is an element of a mathematical group and ki=hixi, where xi is a secret of the revoked entity. A first entity sends, to a second entity, to authenticate itself therewith: a signature generated by the first entity for this authentication; a character string; an element of the group for each pair in the revocation list; and a zero-knowledge proof that the first entity used a secret of this first entity and the character string to obtain the group element for each pair. The second entity rejects the first entity if the zero-knowledge proof is not valid or if, for at least one the pair, the group element is such that Ci=hiA, where A is a known value.

The method includes: obtaining: a first vector u ? 0 ( k ) determining a direction of a first acoustic path, direct between the source and the microphone, a second vector u ? n ( k ) representing a second acoustic path resulting from a specular reflection and arriving at the microphone, and a delay ? n ( k ) of second path at the microphone, compared to the direct path; exploiting a property of the specular reflection according to which a Euclidean distance between two positions of the source at two discrete points in time is equal to a Euclidean distance between two respective positions of images of the source and derived from one or more same reflections, respectively at said two discrete points in time.

Abstract: A method for managing standby of a multimedia stream reader terminal, which is associated with a multimedia content restitution terminal via a communication link. The multimedia stream reader terminal detects a state of a link between the multimedia stream reader terminal and the restitution terminal on the communication link and goes into standby mode in the event of detection of an inactive state of the link.

Abstract: A method for deriving a partial signature for a subset of a set of messages. The method includes: receiving the set of messages and a signature of the set, which includes signature elements of the set; generating anonymized elements of the signature; generating a first verification element from messages other than those of the subset; generating a second verification element to prove the first verification element is well formed; and sending, to a verification entity, a partial signature specific to the subset. The partial signature includes a constant number of elements having at least the elements of the signature of the set of anonymized messages, the first verification element and the second verification element. The partial signature is verifiable with only the messages of the subset of messages. The second verification element is a function of derived values calculated from at least the other elements of the partial signature.
