Abstract: A method for zooming an image displayed on a touch-sensitive screen of a mobile terminal. The method includes: measuring the duration of a stationary touch gesture by the user on the touch-sensitive screen; determining a zoom ratio as a function of the measured duration; and displaying on the touch-sensitive screen the image zoomed by the determined zoom ratio.

Abstract: A content distribution network is made up of terminals and servers that are connected as a network and cooperate in order to make content or data available to users. In order to be able to control access to the content via certain terminals, a solution called “URL signing” has been discussed. A “URL signing” solution requires establishing an active connection between a terminal requesting content and an originating server associated with the requested content. The solution relates to a method for accessing content implemented by a cache server, thus dispensing with the need for an active connection between a terminal requesting content and the originating server associated with the requested content.

Abstract: A method for managing an unallocated telephone number in a communication network, the telephone number being previously allocated to a user of the communication network until a suspension date. The method is implemented by an item of equipment of the network and includes: obtaining information relating to a call set-up request received by the communication network to the telephone number during an observation period of time subsequent to the suspension date; updating, according to the information relating to the call set-up request, information relating to an activity level of the telephone number in the communication network, the information relating to an activity level being representative of a number of requests to set-up a call to the telephone number received by the network for the given observation period and storing in a data table the information relating to an activity level of the telephone number in association with the telephone number.

Abstract: A telecommunications method includes transmitting a multicarrier symbol constructed from points of a polar constellation that are modulated in blocks and controlling at least one phase rotation vector of one of the modulated blocks of points in order to reduce the peak-to-average power ratio of the transmitted multicarrier symbol.

Abstract: A method for managing a request to pair a first item of equipment with a second item of equipment is implemented by a device for managing a pairing request. The managing device is configured to communicate with the first item of equipment via an optical communication channel. The managing method includes: reception, via the optical communication channel, of a pairing request including data representative of the identity of the first item of equipment; and if the pairing request is authorized, transmission, via the optical communication channel, of a security key to the first item of equipment to be used during communications between the first item of equipment and the second item of equipment once the items of equipment have been paired.

Abstract: Method for resolving name identifiers. Existing naming identifier resolution solutions give priority to one aspect, performance of a service or protection of privacy, over the other without it being possible to deviate therefrom. This lack of flexibility is detrimental to the user's quality of experience. This also impacts resource management for various communication equipment involved in the resolution of naming identifiers. The proposed solution makes it possible to give priority to performance or respecting privacy on a case-by-case basis. On the basis of an authorization to share a location of the equipment, the resolver gives priority to transmitting either a network address of a server associated with the naming identifier to be resolved requiring location information of the equipment, giving priority to performance, or a network address of a server associated with the naming identifier to be resolved not requiring location information of the equipment, giving priority to respecting privacy.

Abstract: A method for processing multi-view video data including, for at least one block of an image of a view encoded in an encoded data stream representing the multi-view video, obtaining at least one information item, which specifies a mode for obtaining a synthesis data item, from among first and second obtaining modes. The synthesis data item is used to synthesize at least one image of an intermediate view of the multi-view video, the intermediate view not being encoded in the encoded data stream. The first obtaining mode involves decoding an information item representing the synthesis data item from the encoded data stream, the second obtaining mode involves obtaining the synthesis data item from at least the reconstructed encoded image. At least one part of an image of the intermediate view is synthesised from at least the reconstructed encoded image and the synthesis data item obtained by the specified mode.

Abstract: A method for managing an uninterrupted connection of a moving device to at least one attachment entity of at least one operator of a communication network. The method is implemented by a mediation entity capable of communicating with the at least one attachment entity. The method includes receiving a connection request comprising an identifier of the device and information relating to the movement of the device; determining at least one offer of connection to the at least one attachment entity on the basis of a communication feature, with the transmission of a proposal including the at least one determined connection offer. Determining, by the mediation entity, the connection of the device before its movement enables the movement of the device to be correlated with its connection and enables information relating to the operator or else to the mediation entity not to be disclosed.

Abstract: A notification method is performed by at least a first device of a plurality of devices forming nodes of a network. The first device is suitable for sending and/or receiving at least one data message via a first communication link to and/or from at least one second device of the plurality. The notification method is adapted to the first device transmitting at least one notification message signaling at least one predetermined operation relating to at least one instance of the data message and performed by a functional entity of the first device, the notification message including an identifier of the first device, an identifier of the functional entity, an identifier of the operation, and an identifier common to all of the instances of the data message within the first device. Also provided are a method and device for modeling the network from the notification messages.

Abstract: A method and a device for processing multi-view video data. The multi-view video data includes at least one part of a decoded image of at least one view of the multi-view video, from an encoded data stream representative of the multi-view video. At least one item of data, referred to as synthesis data, is obtained from at least the one part of the decoded image, and at least one image of an intermediate view of the multi-view video not encoded in the encoded data stream is synthesized from at least the one part of the decoded image and from the synthesis data obtained.

Abstract: Analytic sensors and methods utilize an attenuated total reflection (ATR) crystal to detect volatile compounds in an arrangement that reduces interference from compounds other than the one of interest. In particular, the components in the measurement stream are limited to those having volatilities close to that of the analyte of interest, which may be identified based on, for example, the temperature of the ATR crystal and the “dwell time”—i.e., an interval of substantially constant temperature as the ATR crystal is heated.

Abstract: A method for migrating a virtualised function from a first server to a second server depending on data of technical environment parameters. The interfaces specified in the virtualised architectures effectively make it possible to deploy and manage virtualised functions with a view to implementing a service but these interfaces do not contain information relating to the data relating to the technical environment upon which the servers, the virtualised functions and subsequently the services and applications that rely on the virtualised functions are dependent. The migration method proposes virtualised architectures that take into consideration the technical environment parameters in order to move virtualised functions whose functioning could be impacted by a malfunction of one or more technical environment parameter(s).

Abstract: A method for managing resources of a converged fixed access and mobile radio telecommunications network is disclosed. Each operator of a plurality of mobile operators has at least one base station connected to a mobile radio part of the network. According to such a method, a centralized resource allocation management module carries out: receiving at least one request for resources, called mobile client request, emitted either by a mobile radio resource management module of each of the mobile operators, or by a first centralized resource request management module from at least one mobile radio service request previously received from the mobile radio resource management module of each of the mobile operators; and sending at least one resource allocation offer to the mobile radio resource management modules according to the at least one mobile client request and at least one predetermined resource allocation offer rule.

Abstract: A method for securing operations is described. In this method a user requests that a service provider device perform an operation, the service provider device transmitting to a certification device a request to validate the requested operation while indicating a key associated with the user. The certification device identifies the user associated with the key and transmits a dynamic code request to the user. A device that generates dynamic codes assigned to the user generates a first version of the dynamic code and transmits it to the certification device, which compares it with a second version of the code in order to decide whether it would or would not be appropriate to inform the service provider device that the requested operation has been validated.

Abstract: A method for allocating resources on an uplink between a user terminal and a base station of a radio communication network multiplexing the data in resource blocks is disclosed. Such a method implements a standard allocation mode associated with a standard transmission mode of transmission by the terminal; and a priority allocation mode associated with a priority mode of transmission by the terminal. The network favors the priority allocation mode and can allocate to the terminal, according to the priority allocation mode, at least one resource block previously allocated according to the standard allocation mode, introducing a situation of allocation collision. In such a situation, the network implements a temporary allocation mode to allocate at least one replacement resource block in the standard transmission mode, implementing a number of signalling portions containing information on resource allocation greater than that used in the standard allocation mode.

Abstract: A method for operating a device includes the following, performed by a processing unit of the device: receiving a message signaling an incoming phone call from a calling party via a server; generating a ringing message including at least one additional parameter specifying an enriched ring-back tone to be played, as a function of at least a status information available to the device; and transmitting the ringing message to the server for playing to the calling party the enriched ring-back tone.

Abstract: A method for managing communication between a first terminal and a second terminal in a communication network is disclosed. The method includes, at the first terminal: discovering at least one proxy node between the first terminal and the second terminal, the proxy node being capable of providing at least one service for the communication, and if the first terminal accepts the service, sending to the second terminal, in an establishment phase or during the communication, an encrypted proxy information message containing data identifying the at least one proxy node and a token intended to be provided to the second terminal by the at least one proxy node.

Abstract: A method and device for processing a network service instantiation request received by an orchestration entity using a virtualized network function service. A descriptor of the network service includes at least one reference to an object to be deployed in order to instantiate the network service. When the descriptor of the object is not available at the orchestration entity, the orchestration entity obtains information from the network service descriptor that can be used to identify at least one target entity configured to instantiate the object on instruction from the orchestration entity or to transmit the descriptor of the object to the orchestration entity, and transmits, to one of the at least one target entities, a request to instantiate the object or a request to recover a file comprising the descriptor of the object.

Abstract: A method for routing data of a session initialized between a terminal and a server, over a first network slice corresponding to a set of data-processing functions of a communication infrastructure, implemented by the terminal. This method includes receiving from the server at least one routing identifier determined as a function of at least one communication parameter of the session, configuring session information as a function of the at least one identifier received, and emitting to the server subsequent data routed over at least one second slice corresponding to the configured information.
