Abstract: A process implemented by an administration entity for configuring an access unit of a communication network in a virtualised environment having an operating software application. The process includes receiving, from a mediating entity of the operating software application, a log message of the operating software application associating an identifier of the operating software application and an identifier of a node supporting the operating software application. Prior to or following receipt of the log message, the administration entity determines an operating software application for hosting the access unit based on a test relating to a placement criterion relating to a data stream conveyed by the access unit. The administration entity then emits, to the mediating entity of the determined operating software application, a message for configuring the access unit in the determined operating software application, the message including an identifier of at least one other access unit of the communication network.

Abstract: A method for coding or decoding a spatial direction of a sound source, in which a spherical quantization dictionary is defined on a 3D sphere by coding elevation and azimuth, giving at least one coded elevation index (i) on a number of elevation levels (N?) and a number of points per level (Ny?(i)) determined on the basis of two successive cumulative cardinality values (cumN (i), cumN (i?1)), the cumulative cardinality value (cumN(i)) being representative of a number of points proportional to a total number of points and according to the area of a spherical region comprising at least one region delimited by the upper horizontal plane (?=(i+½)??) of the positive elevation level of the coded elevation index (i) and a lower horizontal plane of the sphere.

Abstract: In some existing naming identifier resolution solutions, a resolver obtains network addresses of servers associated with a naming identifier to be resolved and located in a third-party network that is not managed by an Internet service provider for which a user of a terminal has subscribed to a service offering. This impacts the resource management of communication devices managed by the Internet service provider and involved in the resolution of naming identifiers that are not used in an optimum manner. The method allows a third-party company to delegate the naming identifier resolution performed by resolvers of the third-party company to web servers managed by an Internet service provider. Delegating the naming identifier resolution to these web servers makes it possible to reduce costs linked to naming identifier resolution and also exhibits improved performance.

Abstract: A method and device for adapting a communication from a mobile terminal equipped with a near-field communication module. The mobile terminal is able to be placed in NFC mode or in IBC mode to carry out contactless transactions. It is able to receive a message in an electromagnetic field over a near-field channel. The method includes, on the mobile terminal, the following steps: receiving, from a terminal placed in read mode, called the reader terminal, a message inviting to open communications according to a type of near-field communication; detecting a type of near-field communication in the received invitation message; if the type of communication indicates an IBC communication, and the mobile terminal is placed in IBC mode, sending a pairing request over a return channel distinct from the near-field channel.

Abstract: A method for transmitting signals used to estimate the position of a user terminal. The method includes: transmitting a first signal between a network entity and the user terminal by traveling through a radio unit, the first signal being intended to enable a measurement relating to a transmission travel time between the network entity and the user terminal via the radio unit; and transmitting a second signal between the network entity and the radio unit, the second signal being intended to enable a measurement of a transmission travel time between the network entity and the radio unit; wherein at least one value of a transmission condition of the second signal, termed the second value, is dependent on a value of a transmission condition of the first signal, termed the first value.

Abstract: A method for measuring the propagation time of data routing information in a data communication system including a data communication network which comprises a plurality of router nodes operating according to a routing protocol for routing data packets between nodes of the data communication network is disclosed. The method includes, at a router node referred to as the generator node: generating timestamp data for the transmission of data routing information; inserting the transmission timestamp data into a field of a routing protocol message carrying the data routing information, the field being intended to receive data relating to data routing; and sending the message to a different router node referred to as the receiver node.

Abstract: A telecommunications system including: an encoder for encoding input data; and a puncturer for puncturing the data according to at least two protection levels after encoding. The puncturer includes an elementary structure comprising a first puncturing matrix of which an output feeds a demultiplexer having a first and a second output, the second output feeding a second puncturing matrix in order to define the at least two different levels of protection obtained respectively with the first output of the demultiplexer and an output of the second puncturing matrix.

Abstract: A method for identifying sensitive data in at least one data packet emitted by at least one terminal connected to a network, items of identification information relating to an identity and/or environment of an entity to which the at least one terminal belongs being able to be determined from sensitive data having been inserted into the at least one packet before it reaches a destination equipment item. The method includes steps implemented by a searching device, including: receiving the at least one data packet, searching for sensitive data in the at least one data packet, and, where applicable, providing the entity with items of information about the detected sensitive data.

Abstract: A method for constructing a depth image associated with a view of a multiview video, called current view, from a data stream representative of the video. The stream includes information representative of the motion vectors of a texture image associated with the current view with respect to at least one reference texture image, the texture image having been divided into blocks. The method includes: obtaining the motion vectors from the information encoded in the stream; when at least one motion vector has been obtained for at least one block, called current block, of the texture image, motion-compensating a block of the depth image, co-located with the current block, from the at least one motion vector and at least one available reference depth image, the reference depth image being associated with the same view as the reference texture image.

Abstract: Method for managing access to a plurality of bots, where a search interface, executed on a terminal, performs: transmitting at least one search request to at least one search server, via a search channel independent of one or more communication channels with which one or more messaging clients installed on a target mobile terminal and able to converse with the bots are compatible; receiving, via the search channel and from the at least one search server, a result comprising at least one pair comprising a bot and an associated communication channel; selecting, in the result, a pair; and initiating an opening of a conversation between the target mobile terminal and the bot of the selected pair, by using the channel of the selected pair.

Abstract: A method for detecting anomalies in a telecommunications network. The method includes implementing, by a first anomaly detection module: obtaining a plurality of first measurement data representing a resource usage of the network at a given time at a level of a target element; determining from the first measurement data at least one anomaly category from a plurality of anomaly categories a presence of attack, a presence of a fault and an absence of anomaly; requesting validation of the determined category to a second attack detection module and/or to a third fault detection module, depending on the determined anomaly category, the request including at least at the given time, an identifier of the target item, the determined anomaly category and the first measurement data; and on receipt of a response from the second and/or third module, deciding on a processing action to trigger in the network according to the response.

Abstract: A method of controlling a packet stream generated by an application installed in a mobile terminal, the stream being intended to be sent by the terminal over a communications network managed by an operator. The method includes the following acts implemented in the terminal, for at least one packet generated by the application: obtaining a first packet having a first header and payload data; transmitting a request message to a security module installed in the terminal, the message including a parameter of the first header; receiving a response from the security module, which includes an instruction relating to transmission of a second packet, the response being based on the parameter and established according to a processing rule; preparing the second packet by modifying the first header into a second header, based on the instruction, the second packet including the second header and the payload data; and transmitting the second packet.

Abstract: A method for predicting at least one set of current pixels, implemented by a prediction device, in which at least one set of current pixels is predicted on the basis of at least one set of reference pixels, with the assistance of a pixel prediction weighting function. Abstract: A computer-implemented method of deploying a computing task to client computing apparatus is described. The method comprises identifying a plurality of alternative artificial intelligence modules which can accomplish the computing task, determining the settings of the client computing apparatus, and determining, based on the settings of the client computing apparatus and on the requirements specifications of the artificial intelligence modules, whether the client computing apparatus is capable of implementing one or more of the modules to perform the computing task. If so, the method includes selecting a module from among said one or more artificial intelligence modules and outputting, to the client computing apparatus, data enabling the client computing apparatus to implement the selected artificial intelligence module. Abstract: Services for detecting and mitigating computer attacks are proposed by some access providers to their customers. However, sometimes a message to request support for the management of attacks issued by a node of a client domain under computer attack is sent to a mitigation server that is unable to process it. Such a request will be systematically rejected and no mitigation action will be implemented. The present solution makes it possible to ensure that no request message issued by a node goes unanswered, even if it is transmitted to a mitigation server that is unable to process it. To this end, when a mitigation server determines that it is unable to process a request message, instead of rejecting this request, it will seek to identify at least one other mitigation server that would be able to process this request message.

Abstract: A method for modifying a multimedia content received by at least one first communication terminal from a second communication terminal. The method is implemented by a modification device and includes: obtaining at least one first datum representative of a multimedia sequence defined by a time frame of the multimedia content; obtaining at least one second datum representative of the activity of a user on the first terminal during the time frame; and modifying the multimedia content according to the result of the comparison of the first datum with the second datum.
