The first portion has a rectangular or square shape and the second portion complements the first portion in the current block. The second portion has a geometric shape with m sides, wherein m>4. Then the first and second portions are encoded.

Abstract: A method for storing content implemented by a first content reader. The first content reader includes a processor, a first memory for storing content, a virtualisation layer and a material abstraction layer. The method includes, during storage of first content in a given format, generating first standalone content, following which the first standalone content is stored in the first memory. Generating the first standalone content includes creating first container in which are stored at least the first content to be stored in the given format, and a first access processing step adapted to the given format and associated with the first content to be stored, the data stored in the first container making up the first standalone content. Thus, access to the stored content is guaranteed while the content reader is capable of implementing the access processing step stored with the content in the standalone content.

Abstract: A method, a device and a program are provided for processing data. The method is implemented within an intermediary module. The data is transmitted between a customer module and a server module connected through a communications network. The method includes: receiving, from one among the customer and server modules, an intermediation request identifying an operation of intermediation to be performed relative to a stream of encrypted data exchanged between the customer module and the server module; and processing relative to said encrypted data as a function of said operation of intermediation.

The method implements, at an image capturing terminal, for at least one portion to be encoded of the current image: determining a piece of information related to manipulation of the terminal by a user, in relation with the at least one captured current image; obtaining at least one piece of data related to the current image by transforming the determined piece of information; and from the obtained piece of data, implementing at least one of the following acts: predicting a piece of movement information associated with the at least one portion of the current image, and determining at least one characteristic of an encoding mode associated with the at least one portion of the current image.

Abstract: A system including an entity of a home network configured to register geographical locations of users. On receiving a request to update the location of a user, the entity determines minimum quality of service parameters required of the visited network as a function of the service requested and of a profile of the user. These parameters and the updated quality of service of the visited network are taken into account by a traffic steering platform in order to give a positive or a negative response to the request.

Abstract: A method for facilitating operations in storage facilities. A server receives a service request for performing a first operation in the storage facility. The server identifies a first storage unit based on the service request. The server identifies an operation zone of the first storage unit for performing the first operation. The server determines an ergonomic score for each operator for performing the first operation based on characteristics of the operation zone and the fatigue level of the corresponding operator. The server allocates the first storage unit to a first operator for performing the first operation, based on the determined ergonomic scores, thereby ensuring an increased throughput of the storage facility.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a burning tool of a tire pressure sensor includes a carrier having at least one USB connector, an IC module and a transmission port. The USB connector is capable of externally matching a tire pressure sensor. The IC module includes a memory unit and a processing unit. The memory unit stores at least one communication protocol relative to a vehicle model. The processing unit is electrically connected to the memory unit and the USB connector, while the USB connector is in connection with the tire pressure sensor, the processing unit reads the communication protocol stored in the memory unit, and thereafter burns it into the tire pressure sensor. The transmission port is electrically connected with the IC module and capable of connecting with an external device, thus the IC module is controllable by the external device to burn the communication protocol aforesaid.

Abstract: A technique for controlling the reading of a digital object by a user device. The digital object is stored locally in the memory of the user device. The reading of the digital object is conditioned by receiving at least one datum broadcast by a transmitting device using a radio communication channel. An area for reading the digital object is thus located in the radio range of the transmitter device. Reading is blocked outside of this reading area.

The method implements, for a current block to be coded: predicting the current block in accordance with a prediction mode selected from among predetermined prediction modes, Intra and Inter, the selected mode of prediction being Intra; calculating a residual data block representative of a difference between a predictor block obtained on completion of the prediction and the current block; applying a transform operation to the data of the residual block, the transform operation belonging to a set of transform operations previously stored in association with the selected mode of Intra prediction; and coding the data obtained from the transform operation. The number of transform operations contained in the set associated with the selected Intra mode is different from the number of transform operations contained in a set of transform operations stored in association with the mode of Inter prediction.

Abstract: A method for synchronizing movement of transport vehicles in a storage facility is provided. A server determines first and second paths in the storage facility to be traversed by first and second transport vehicles, respectively. The server identifies a common path that corresponds to an overlap between the first and second paths. The server determines a safe distance to be maintained between the first and second transport vehicles, for avoiding a collision therebetween, when the first and second transport vehicles traverse the common path in the same direction. The server communicates a message, indicative of the safe distance, to the second transport vehicle for synchronizing movement of the first and second transport vehicles. Based on the message, the second transport vehicle follows the first transport vehicle along the common path and maintains a distance greater than or equal to the safe distance from the first transport vehicle.
