    Abstract: A composition for treating hair and, in particular, for defrizzing hair, includes blackstrap molasses and honey. Essential oils can be added to the mixture. A method exists for making the composition. The method of making the composition includes heating the composition, possibly to a boil, cooling the composition, adding the essential oils, and mixing the imbibed composition. The composition is used in methods to treat hair. The composition treats hair by application or through heat treatments.
